Smoke test it yet or are you waiting for a cure?

Hello DP
These Ladies are still going in full sun,
looking at about one more week to chop. Also seeds should be good and ripe by then, as they are promised back to the gent that gifted me the seeds to do the repro.

Heya beanzy! Those ladies look awesome, mate! Hope all is well with ya!

Vermontman...what can I say? You always bring the dankness. That holy weed looks fanfuckintastic!

To anyone thinking about running those Bodhi AG’s...just a word of warning. I had 2 out of the 4 I grew outdoors last year go herm on me. Just the lower branches were showing balls, but it was enough to seed (ruin) my whole crop.

Just an FYI for anyone trying to grow them...keep a watchful eye if you’re gonna try growing them outside.

HB.

They are landrace you always gotta look out for that. To me that is actually a good sign confirming their legitness, but too bad to hear about your crop.

Yeah, I'm not blaming bodhi or anything...he's a righteous dude and I got mad respect for him.

Thing is...I got lazy and had too many plants going...all my fault that I didn't catch them sooner. Just another experience to learn from.

Are you sure you didnt have a neighbor growing some males? I have never had a whole crop indoor ruined from plants hermiing on the lowers. I dont have experience on large scale but Ive seen my share of hermiing plants. Ive also grown a lot of males.

I have a girl she hermies on the lowers almost every single time but I dont think Ive ever gotten any seeds from her.

I have another one that has some landrace in her that tends to hermi on the lowers or have a flower or 2 that are full blown hermi, again doesnt seem to be a problem. The cool thing about her is that when grown properly I can not find one single nanner on her. She is a BlueSAGE X Dr.Grinspoon.

My neighbor's plants were all small and squat...they weren't affected by the pollen that was flying around in my yard, thank God.

Anywhoo....The plants were grown outdoors in a patch in my yard, planted directly into the ground...The two AGs that hermed are in the middle of the pic. They were in the perfect location to pollinate the whole patch...which was unfortunate as I had some real nice stuff going (SSSDH by OJD, Goji OG, White Fire x Oaxacan, Peyote Purple and some others).

Like I said, I should have paid closer attention. The lower branches were the only parts of the plants that hermed on me and if I had caught it soon enough, I could have cut those parts out OR just ditched the two plants.

I agree that controlling pollen is easier to do indoors...the wind outdoors can (and will) blow pollen all over the damn place.

Hi

Man those seem to be growing fast.

LOL they not that fast. Two different tubs. This more recent pic is swazi seeds I'm looking through to find good phenotypes. The previous one is from my cross I made to check how it came out (misty, anise).

Here's how the other tub looks:

swazi x ace of spades leaves in the foreground

One of the swazi polokwane males has gone into flowering a bit early. I will most likely kill this guy:

Interesting that the camera flash is picking up a good amount of leaf crystals so early on. I cant see them with my eyes though.

Wonderful thin leaves yaxu.
I always pictured chile to have a more temperate climate, but i see wonderful sativas growing there. Does it ever freeze? Maybe northern chile is more tropical? Or i guess atacama desert, is that the key to such nice sativas in chile? Maybe a marine climate?
I dunno, im rambling now.
