Beautiful plants everyone!

This is Tom Hill Haze pheno 16, she is completely purple now due to low temps, but the other girls stay green anyway. This pheno has the worst mold resistance (out of the Hazes), also totally devastated by the caterpillars, she is their favorite snack damn it. I have lost half plant to either mold or those buggers. Well at least she is powdery mildew resistant. Its interesting that the caterpillars really love the Hazes, they wont touch Cookies at all

I had problems with caterpillars myself this year
They decimated a few of the rom/ISS plants I had OD
Seemed to start at the top of the plant and work their way down
I’ll be ready for them next season

Bad news for me,stopping Acapulco Gold project as mine male is a hermi..

Yesum was right,they hermi natural by defoult... still will flower 2 females

just to try them smoking and to feel this old school weed..

This line need some work and i think it will need time to weed out plants
with hermi tendencies if its possible at all.. looks like deep problem..

No,not all 3,

male is hermi while girls for now looks clean but there is a lot of time left for flowering
so this could change in a process.. also whithouth good clean male will not work repro..

Hey Dog Star , sorry to here about your project going downhill. How big are the containers you have your AG in ? From what I have noticed, when these plants get root bound , they express hermies and also when the temperature gets too cold and also drought. I hope this helps . Saludos Mexicani-ar

yes and no

Out of a 10 pack of Bohdi Vintage AG I got 3 females and 2 males, and did an Open pollination with both males on selected branches.

But the above Male was outstanding of the two, sexy mexy thin leaves, well branched for tropical ventilation, and tight floral clusters with resin. So this particular Male was chosen for some F1 crosses with selected females including. Bohdi Zipolite, CBG Punto Rojo, CBG Mangobiche, Old timers Haze, and a late flowering Chitrali RSC.

mine was beside balls haved few white pistils,but Mexicani-air is right..
maybe small pot made them go hermi..

Will try sow males outdoor in a soil,maybe i get clean one like yours..

Theories to avoid hermi, low potency, and general craziness in landrace/heirlooms

Grow the plants out natural veg 2 months then take clones to flower

This assures plant maturity and use min 10 gallon smart bag type pots with organic soil

Its fine if they get big... you use clones from them to do the flowering

flower clones taken from the lower part of the big veg plants lower part has more rooting enzymes happening

Use organic teas to feed the plants after the soil gets depleted

make sure all the usual stuff is dialed if indoors... pin leaks, low temps, even overcrowding or even lst scroging or topping is stuff plants like these never seen before

A good oscillating fan makes for heathy plants and good drying between watering which is why smart pot bags are good it gets air to the roots

I think worm castings the homemade type are good help and using the no-till technics like that "crazy straw" as i call it ...available in a bale its been pasturized or whatever its a good top mulch and even put worms under there

The main thing people miss is plant maturity we get away without it all the time but with long flower landraces they like long veg and really they all do... but with landrace its gonna be a bad crapshoot for potency of the end product and hermies and general plant unhappiness without that time in

And of course the 12/12 is not ideal...rosenthal came up with a chart for all sorts of landraces and you can find a version of that sort of natural light native light schedule online

This is just the beginning theres alot of stuff we can do indoor to make this work dj short talks about it in his book about even the light angle....and spectrum

Then there is humidity temp wind some plants are from the jungle and like a canopy over them even the composition of the soil rainfall...I think rosnethal covered some of that
stuff

The real challenge is when they things cant be kept in clone because they go auto flower

If a plant can be kept in clone or kept as mother it has a plenty of time to get the envirornment dialed

Its alot less stressful when copies are safe and these environments and technecis can be an experiment!
