I have 11 very stretchy ladies right now. The little room is 6 ft high and the plants got a height between 5 and 6 ft. I tamed them with a scrog.

AK47 F3 x (Unknown x Swazi) at day 30 in 5.5 gallon pots under 600 W HPS

What you see here is just a part of the scrog. The whole scrog got nearly 20 sqft.

View from below.

As you see it not even a problem when you break the branches. Just fix it like a broken arm. The plant will keep on growing normally.

Many many new sidebranches.

My 17 sq ft space is only 6'3" tall & it would be tough to scrog in there thru a door that's only 2' wide. I consequently go to 11/13 when the plants are 1' tall to avoid them getting up into the light. I still have to train an occasional very stretchy specimen like the goatwreck haze in the background-

Some pure sativa divas like this Rio Negro Colombian from Centennial seeds will spread out on their own rather than stretch vertically if they're not crowded-

I started 12 seeds & only got 3 females but they really did great. I normally try to flower 6, our Denver legal max.

Yield isn't my primary consideration & I really just like to let 'em grow naturally.

The door is only two ft wide? Consider you must reach your plants to train them. My door to my little hobby room is 2.5 ft wide and 4.5 ft high, what means I can enter my room, at least one step and I stand in the middle so my hands can nearly reach the walls to the left and the right. This is crucial otherwise you can't bind down the new shots.

I consequently go to 11/13 when the plants are 1' tall to avoid them getting up into the light.

I have to admid I never did that. I know many people grow even 12/12 from seed, but I give mine four weeks veg. Simply because I'm convienced the weed will be of better quality when the plant is allowed to come of age. Mine were 1.5 - 2 ft tall when I switched to 12/12, although I topped them once. And they were about 3 - 3.5 ft tall when they showed sex and then I bend them down into the scrog.

The height is really no problem if you scrog them. Exept you want to grow "nice" plants. I know scrog looks terrible. A naturally grown plant is much nicer to look at and I envy all the grower here, who have the possibility to grow outdoor. But I can't. I MUST scrog them if I want to grow sativas and beside quality yield is MY primary consideration, because this crop must bring me through the next year. ;-)

Looks like your goatwreck haze leant down due to the weight and new side shots appeared. This is exactly what you do when you scrog your plants. If you bend them down, the sidebranches get more light and build fat buds. Perfect strain for scrog. Looks nice. I love this narrow leafes.
edit: Saw to late this little rope on the left. To bind it down like this got the same effect like scrogging.

Even this plant would be much to high for my room. And I love this Swazi genetic, although it is unbelievable stretchy. Annoying stretchy, what was one reason to cross it with a compact growing AK47. But it's still stretchy and it's not the first time I grow this cross. It is generally strong weed and and some phenos are quite trippy.

Smoked a premature sample after drying, no cure(i know im an undisciplined fool). The euphoria was the focus of the high. Waves and waves of buzzing euphoria. The flavor was every bit as pungent as the aroma. It smells strongly of coffee, skunk and mint. When breaking it up additional aromas of citrus and incense are also detected. This is top shelf bud.
