Hey Samson
What is Puna Sativa exactly?

This is a quote from the breeder,
"This was a trade name of the imports via Hawaii of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. The largest smuggling group in the USA from the 60 through to mid 70-s. The legend of Maui, comes from a imported Oaxacan. This was a early F1 hybrid that came out exceptionally good as F1s tend to do and was one of their first. Hence they wanted a good story, and name to differentiate it from the previous Oaxacans. It got shipped via Hawaii, where still today many of the group are based, and thus the legend of Maui Wowie was formed. "

This Maui sativa didn't yield very well and loved to herm. He crossed it to afghan and backcrossed it to Maui; creating the Puna Sativa line.

The last pics totally remind me of my SpaceGrin #1, it's a cross of Dr.Grinspoon X SpaceBomb, I am trying to grow it very well this time and I will turn them into ''thai sticks'' looking buds.

I had to do the first time I harvested her, I am getting to know her now, but the first time the buds never stopped growing long and thin so the top colas were litteraly useless stems with very few calyxes but loaded with trichomes. So I bundled them up and I thought this is my own take on thai sticks! I am looking forward to cure them in this fashion next time.

All is cool with your inquiry.
I am on about F 41 On the Oaxacan Gold line in other words I have been growing her for a hell o a long time! HAHA
I am sure there are many generations under the belt of the Nepali without genetic infusion judging by the stability of this line. So this is an F1 cross of two extremely stable landrace IBL strains.
That being said as F1S these are "very" stable and with that these can be grown out for selection in either direction towards the Oax Or the Nepali, or a completely new line could be derived from these without much genetic drift. The more purple fruity the more Nepali. The more Pine insense the more Oax. Or just pic a desired phenol and breed from that, These still will be way more stable than almost anything you would get from any of the common seed companies.
Hope that helps?

Thanks for the info! I've seen your Oaxaca around here and the DJ Short subforum and have always been impressed by it. These plants look gorgeous. Really impressive, as always!

I've just had Zamaldelica inbred that looked just like that. Very high quality flowers, in terms of potency.

Yo WIlly,
They look normal, but they will grow bigger. Zamaldelica is a good yielder.
If you give them 11/13 light/darkness from the very start of flowering they finish at 11 weeks. If you let have 12/12 ligth/darkness they can go 'till 16 weeks with only a llittler more yield.

Some fire nugs I got on a recent expedition. Licorice candy smell. Great effect. Almost seedless. This was what they called Punto Rojo (supposedly) but then they told me the all purple varieties were called punto rojo.... I think they were just selling it a bit.

*Really messed up the pics...
