It looks like not enough water, but the coco is wet. Is really possible to overwatering a plant like this, in such a small container?

This was a bit more complicated than I thought :D

Edit: Hard mode ON

You didn't have to do that to make me feel better. :YaRight:

Edit: Awe man, you've got that all bud phenotype?

It looks like not enough water. How did you fertilize the plant though the blumat or separately? In the distant past, I have managed to kill plants by over fertilizing them and they looked like they did not have water. I think the explanation I read was that if you over fertilize your soil, osmosis would tend to pull the water from the plant to the soil because the concentration of salts is higher in the soil than it is in the plant.

Anyway, it is a damn shame that a plant that was doing so well ended up looking like that.

Sforza!, about layla plant!

maybe cutting the container midway around with a razor blade, and then putting the rootball, with container top and plant in DRY fresh soil,

for a day or two or three, untill it drains,

then cram it back into the bottom container half once it's healthy,

and put electrical tape over it after wrapping the seam with PTFE teflon plumbers tape. and make a cross pattern cradle with the electrical tape for structural stability maybe.

also, i like to use aluminum foil to make pot cover slips, (heavy duty makes it reusable, when re-using containers)
so the roots can get to the walls without being affected by light, AND, so that they don't get algea.

Thanks for the tips, earthwyrms. I agree that only massive intervention is going to save that plant. I have pretty much written it off. I did use an utility knife to cut some lines in the plastic to help it breath, but it was too little too late. Cutting the entire pot open and doing the equivalent of open heart surgery is probably its only chance at this point.

While it is silly to go to such lengths to save such a sick plant, the entire concept of making it harder on yourself to grow a plant by growing it in a small container is silly, so in for a penny in for a pound. I will give it a shot and we shall see if the plant is able to respond.

looks to me like a pathogenic fungus or something like fusarium wilt perhaps
sometimes this happens with very wet soil

break the stem and look for brown spots or mushy spots on the stem around where it meets the media

also; inoculations of trichoderma, glomus, and em1/lacto keep the pathogens at bay ime

till now you were def in the lead....
better luck next time, gramse, reikox, AND doubletripleOG

the feild narrows, some front runners out of the race....WHO will finish and WHO will win?

this is so much fun to me :D

im still in lol
ill post a up to date pic in next day or so.
yea its realy hard to keep them alive in these small containers.
good luck to anyone who is still in.:tiphat:
