Resurrecting DJs blueberry

*** this is purely theoretical but bear with me ***
Sometimes I find myself thinking that the elusive "F1 Durb" from the cookies incident is actually someone trying to lead people away from the trail. Could it be that a plant from DJs catalogue is actually the missing link in the cookie recipe?
when I see these deep purple colors and the baked good descriptions I find myself pondering?

Too a degree they certainly do taste and look the same.

A .too many different kinds about tho...some very indica leaning..dj's was definitely more of a sativa...

a nice recall to the past... lovely. then, DarkStotrm, you' re right:
to my personal experience, morfologically talking,the leading pheno of what i guess you are all talking about has a strong indica pattern.this has substantially reduced the weight, or at least many of those kinda sub- pheno obtained from a f2 outcross to a mainly sativa one seem to reveal a indica thickness bud, moderated stretch and an early resin production. that is that. but, despite that they all seems to take for good a slight sativa feeding program so... i'm wondering if we are talking about a pure true indica or to some kind of particular sativa in it. guess which...

I'm of the opinion that to keep what makes blueberry special intact the other parental plant needs to compliment the scent component it replaces. Which is why I think the Bushy Old Grower strain is a poor choice for an outcross. While the blue may carry over and it adds resin potency and structure the scent doesn't meld well with 'white hard woods.' Which will probably mucky up the effect.

and i'll spend my two cents too... arguing about how sometimes happen that an unstable hybrid , outcrossed to a deep ibl as BOG gear used to be, shall bring you some true, unexpected exception... something to work with as an S1, for example. then i could be wrong but, what i mean is that some recessive caracthers seems to play uncommon role once crop is outcrossed to a much more stable one

Testing true og to blue star now. I ran sfv x bbf4 and it wasnt the same as cookies but it was excellent. If i had to guess id look down the flo or vanilluna x og for cookies. I made a few of those crosses but i dont think i hit og with them. My death star crosses with them are fantastic. Id like to work them in the future to get out.

Ive made all kinds of mash ups with djs 98 f4 bb, 95 blue velvet, and otm. Lots of fun blue gems coming in the near future.

I'm not trying to be snide or nasty. I took the exact same tone when people tried to tie BOG gear to OG Kush - just stop. LOL.

I love blueberry and I'm not trying to undermine the vibe or thrill of sorting through the work to find a good representation. However, Cookies just isn't Blueberry. Wholly different.

That aside, if anyone is actually finding true blueberry notes -whether that be towards the muffin or artificial sweet candy side - I'm interested in knowing which lines it is surfacing in, which is why I'm following the thread.

Also with rose tinted glasses, low tolerance, memories get distorted. I do not have photos of the plants because they were all deformed and inbred, but here you can see the photos of the packs and when I buy them, and I will never buy anything from the new dj short work again, just a scammer

I also bought them as a limited edition and very expensive, and when dj short sold all the packs they stopped being limited edition ...
These are details that make you see when a breeder is not concerned about the quality of his genetics, but if he cares about the amount of money with which he fills his pockets. 250/300 per pack and all endogamic and with much hermaphrodites.... This is the actually market sadly.....
