Rest fucking loud Lemmy

B

Baron Greenback

I thought he was going to live forever. Thanks for the riffs, the volume and the copious amounts of ingested drugs.
Hopefully the riffs will echo through time.:headbange

R.I.P. Lemmy ~another vanguard who forged his own way. An icon lost.

Got a wild hair the night before last & started rocking some motorhead on youtube. Killed by Death has always been a favorite. Couldn't even believe it for a moment yesterday ~but, he was like 70 & lived the dream

I am not sure, but I think it was 2005 as I saw Motörhead live in my hometown. Smoking was forbidden of cause, but I lightet my spliff as "I got mine" began. :headbange:sasmokin: Never will forgot this moment.
My brother and me we were huge Motörhead fans, since 1980 and saw them 5 times live.

RIP Lemmy

The King left none living
None able to tell
The King took their heads
And he sent them to hell
Their screams echoed loud
In the place of their death
Ripped open they died
With their final breath
They hailed the King
The King of Kings

He turned 70 Christmas or Christmas eve and was told the next day he had cancer bad. He had recently diagnosed as diabetic too, quit alcohol meth and cigs but relapsed some. Saw Motorhead once but a friend who has seen him alot saw them perform around two years ago and said Lemmy looked real skinny and had a cane and seemed like he would fall during the night. Still going strong till the end, like he said he would, they definitely only made one Lemmy.

For those in or around LA. There will be a memorial/drink feast at the Rainbow Room in Hollywood on Saturday. Guaranteed to have some of Metal's best performing.
