hey Mike, yeah it was your destroyer grow that sparked all of this I want to scale up and didn't want to start off with building a manifold trying to handle all the plants as I still like sea of green, I think once I start getting a better idea of watering requirements ill get it to work, the capillary abilities of Coco don't seem to let it get too saturated with the bottom watering method but I realised my biggest mistake was allowing some of the plants around the drain hole to sit in water that wasn't getting drained away, those root bases got fetid and smelt the worst and spread it to the other plants because the water was being recirculated on the table, I've put them on a drain mat now, I should have done that in the first place. To avoid overwatering, im adding x amount of nutrient solution daily. If a plant is drinking 200ml daily, im watering 200ml. No run off, no waterlogged plants, no lazy roots or lack of oxigen(bad smell, anaerobic guys)
i dont add organic stuff to the tank, only fertilicers and some bennis
