i'll try my memory aint the best,i think they took 9 weeks to flower didnt stretch much and were small yielders, but had that og piney lemon line sour ting going on,not as good as when i done them 1st a couple years back, werent to sensitive to nutes like the first that 1 was super sensitve,i didnt keep them, got more seeds of then,i think the line is worth doing, but im from the uk so not much to compare it to out here, every one and there mother grows cheese, ams and lems so its a nice change from all that

I wish my mother grew cheese lol, try powerkush from dinafem is you want an easy to grow, good yielding , good smoking plant that's different. It has a super fruity smell with a little musk in the backround in the taste dept.. Idc what anyone says about it i like it. It also makes tons of kif.
On another note i have grown the cheese, and my pheno, didn't yield for shit(biggest bud was as big as a jumbo permenant marker). I was wondering if over there in the uk(im across the pond) do you guys have multiple cut's of the cheese, and do some of them yield awesome with big buds?

Not the cuts, but with a good veg they yield kind of average, there's big Buddhas cheese and green houses that might yield better, but I don't know, there is a couple threads in the uk forum about cheeses you will find all you need to know on the Exo there, hope this helps, mintz

That helped alot, the cheese i grow is the regular old greenhouse cheese. I have a bean of the exodus , prolly gonna pop it soon.

I ran the femmed og .If I am not mistaken, the 18 was the first run of the original s1 beans . I could b wrong though . But Anywho , out of the six two turned out good . Both with a sprite kind of smell and taste. With one leaning more towards the chemdog funk which yielded ok . I still run em and can't decide on my keeper. very potent which is always good. they flopp like a Mutha though.

Me too....put me off kush's. Still got some OG Blue Kush from G13 labs, staying in the fridge until I see a good report on em. I dunno about all the hype over Kush in seed form.

DNA have some interesting Kush strains.....but is it just hype?

i will say that ive smoked some sour cream from dna that was actually very very grade a shit..

which is Sour Diesel x G13 Haze. soo its got that background.. but iunno like all the big breeders.. i think its hit or miss with the packs.. like the guys said on the boards.. u need like 100 seeds t find the cup plant.

got some kandy kush x skunk and og 18 x skunk going right now. just putting into 1 gallon pots today.. will update my journal later.. wen have time been busy with xmas an shit.

ive grown a bunch of dna strains an i know a few other growers that are too.everything ive seen from them is top notch.my take on the og18 is that its a stinkier and tastier version of regular og thats about all i noticed with it.the dude that grew it said it yielded better too.i am growing stacked kush from them which is half og18 and im very happy with it.shes a stretcher but worth the stretch.im weird though i love plants that stretch.i bend them in circles and get crazy yields off the stretchy strains.

did you get them from dna.i wonder why so many folks have problems with there stock.they have been good to me.

yes of course it was from DNA. It's one of those products where you'll find 3 or 4 growers trashing it for every one you find loving it.

It seems like the very first batch they released was good, then it went downhill from there.

I've heard lots of praise for other lines too, but it'll be a while before I go back to that well.

Hey, I’m reviving this thread. Just got my gassy pheno back of the 18. It’s over 12 yrs old. I’ll be giving updates soon

I've been growing the 18 for a lil over 2 years straight. Very gassy, great yield, easy to trim, and nice balanced high. She cuts through a lot of clone only OGs..She really surprised me coming out of a pack of fems..

Wow that’s a beefy OG! Not sure I’ve ever seen one with structure like that

There’s no comparison when it comes to the 18. Might not be the biggest producer but has some of the stinkiest & smoke around.

The first release was good. Definitely not better than kosher in my eyes. But the first OG18 release was fire. Now it’s not the same line from a parental switch and it’s a shadow of its former self. Harder to find killer phenos etc. Oliver seems to have a decent cut but I have other thoughts on that whole situation. Something happened along the way that watered it down.
