Reserve Privada OG#18

Ok so let's start by saying, mad respect for don and aaron, living my dream they are.
So who has grown the og18, and what was it like. I have run it multiple times in hydro, soilless mixes and in the great outdoors. My problem is that it's all hyped up all over the net, and get's rave reviews, except for me it's trash. and when i say trash i mean it. I had about 50 strains going at once and was on the quest for the perfect kush. I mean it's a super low producer, the smoke isn't that good and even my outdoor plant wasn't that great.I was really dissappointed with the company and was reluctant to order more kush beans from them, until my kandy kush started to flower and it's straight fire.
So what i wanna know is who has it going ?,who has nice pics of killer buds of it they grew?, I wanna know if it was my seed, or really what i think and the strain is garbage. Thanks in advance for your help

Me too....put me off kush's. Still got some OG Blue Kush from G13 labs, staying in the fridge until I see a good report on em. I dunno about all the hype over Kush in seed form.

DNA have some interesting Kush strains.....but is it just hype?

reserva privada is just seaweeds limited connects in my hood when one flew over the cookoo's nest. 18 is just a number that 2 clowns from hollywood used because they had no mind of their own after they pinkled x18 from raco. if you grow a bunch of og hybrids, yes, you'll come across something decent, what.

I grew 1 pack of their sour kush fems and the tiny ass bit of bud I got off it was really nice but they were toss outs. I haven't had luck with any femmed seeds from any breeder yet.

I have an OG 18 cut that is amazing.. It was found from 4 packs by a buddy none the less but it's up there with ANY of the super elite og's that I have or have smoked or grown.. it may be a super rare pheno or something, im not sure.. I really havent smoked any other OG 18 phenos.. But somewhere in those packs are some keepers.. the yield is low on this one but might put out a little more than other pure ogk's. It's really the terpines that make it top tier.. looks are ok, but smoke is up there..

I agree with the overhype and OP completely, I had an OG18 outdoor and

og18 for me was a 7 out of 10 all around. Smelled very skunky. Tasted like it smells with hint of lemon. End product looked like outdoor but was indoor grown. High was bland and clones were very hard to root. There chocolate kush is a 9 out of 10 though....

Grew out 5 OG 18's. 3 of them were crap. 2 were really pretty nice though. I kept one and still have it. Nice yield. Stanky sharp OG smell. My boy homer likes it and that says a lot he's the biggest pot snob I know. Bottom line, there is some dank in that line but you gotta dig a little.

i had a nice pheno from this, but now i'm scared to pop them again since there's so many bad reviews it seems that there's a lot of variance within it?

Thanks Tom. Someone who isn't afraid to speak the truth for what it is. There is so much behind the scenes shady shit in the seed world, to know what goes on behind the scenes helps a lot. So basically it's what i thought, the cut that sells the seeds usually isnt what you get and people will go togreat lengths to market a product in a consumer pleasing, driven by greed community. I have another bean of it, gonna give it a shot, it might be number 1001, winner winner, chicken dinner

The pheno that I have is short, bushy and not stretchy like most og's.. almost bubba structure but a little more stretchy FWIW

On another note tom i just recently joined the ic mag community, and love your mega plants outside, gives me inspiration to see what i can do. If i had some monsters like that the pesky pork choppers in the sky around here wouldnt even think a plant could get big, and probably keep flying, good stuff, man , good stuff.

I just grew OG18 . it was a freebie . it was also my first fem seed. I only popped 1. no herm problems. I actually was pretty impressed . before I popped I read some reviews on it , most being negative . so I didnt expect to much from it and kept a close eye on her . she stretched alot during flower , minimal branching during veg, was ready in 8 weeks , small yield of dense stinky nugs. I am pleased with her and she will be going on her 3rd run. maybe I was just lucky . this was first time growing any DNA gear and have never purchased any either .

Man i would have killed to have that indy dom pheno. Mine was sativa dom to the max long pointy leaves, straetchy, and nine weeks in a co2 enriched envirinment, where everything finishes early, not the #18. Can ya give me some stats about it.
