Replacing equipment.. what to get

I'm in tents too and almost ready to replace my reflectors.

i think 600w is fine for 4x4 but that's me. i also use cooltube but maybe i change it to hood.

600 will work, I have a 600 watt ballast and bulb collecting dust because of the much better yield I get with 1000's.
Cool tubes are great for what they are but a full size reflector is superior in a horizontal setup, IMO.

In an air cooled hood, not much.

Just ordered new stuff. Ended up with purple reign 1000 watt ballast. 600 watt mh, 1000 watt eye hortilux super hps. See how my existing hood does. If not good I’ll upgrade it. Also see how the 600 does for veg. If not I’ll pick up a 1000. It’s coming Monday.. Ill set it up and make sure nothing is needed then pop some beans!! Thanks everyone for contributions.
