To all that wonder, I work in the IT field and yes big brother is an issue but there are ways of combating privacy issue. If you take notice ICmag is run from a "HTTPS" look at the address bar at the top of your screen. That means "hyper text transfer protocol Secure" which means its a encrypted server. all the data transferred to and from it gets scrambled and then unscrambled on either end. obviously that doesn't mean display your personal information like real name, city, address, phone number, etc. But it does provide a level of protection against those who wish to do us harm. if your are really worried turn up your cookie and privacy protection on your web browser and that will increase your level of protection. Trust me unless you are posting info regarding a major commercial operation, big bro isn't watching the home grow forum chatters. plus it would be hard to prove that "you" and not anyone else is at the other end of the computer. IP addresses aren't logged by this website so it would be next to impossible to triangulate an individual's position completely. but hey its always good to be safe.
