also im amazed that the plants in the third row are able to still get enogh lumens? it looks like they are 4-5ft away from the lights! i guess i have many things to learn about verticle...

I had a story convo with my gardener yesterday while we were trimming

- He held up a branch, look at the buds and look at me, he ask, hey red why the top buds are smaller than the lower one ...

i look at him and laugh,, i said no man the top buds are the right size, the bottom ones are over size hahaah thats what u get for doing vertical top row plants are as big and nug are as dense if not denser than the lower one fyi

haha thanks brother sacko, yeah i am guesstimating the 7 plants chopped on friday,,, so far they look like a full elbow but might be alittle less, voodoo all dried up and produced 1.7 oz LOL , the smoke is great, but the structure suck

another person who smoked the real deal ,,,, anyone i met will take this g13 over anything because it save them so much money, an 8th of g13 will last a week while others only a day or 2, if it wasnt for the smoke, i would have dump her a long time ago,,,,

thanks SP, yeah most og are going to be easy trim, sfv is a mislable and not true og, that one is one leafy muther!!!

they're purpling up too, temp with only 2k lights on are swinging from 65 - 70

it just seems crazy that they are so far away...if that was horizontal setup that would all be larf...how does this work!! so envious of that walll of buds..reminds me of hemployed too

there are fluffy buds of course, but very very little,,, all because we forgot to take those branches off in the begining

most of the fluffy one never get to see any lights, theyare still nice size but not as dense,,, the first row near the lights, ahaha those nugs are like rock, madness and the g13 nugs are super dense, the fire og's are on the last tiers, i chcked them and the buds seem dense as well,,,,,

i only have one conclusion to this,

defoliation! most say it doesnt work or waste of time, but it works for me and make all my top buds dense as well, fluffy buds are the one get no lights from the back... even the 2nd row, all buds from the back are dense too

look at the voodoo, she was the one in the corner and get very little lights, her nugs are nice and dense too heeheh

It's an intriguing subject, and I don't pretend to understand enough about botany to argue about whether it works or why, but I find it very interesting indeed that many growers on ICMag that I respect (such as yourself) and whose skills are readily apparent are reporting such good things after trying it.
