Thats a good question & a Great Idea Red. How well does that air conditioner work? & Aprox how much did that thing cost. Very cool & Looks quite handy. Does it drip like the big window ones or does it have some kind of catch?

Thanks dr.dog, they are not growing as fast as i like them to grow but not to bad so far, i figure once the root hit the sweetspot they're going to blow up.

No flipping yet, i will let them go for a few more days, then top 'em at 8 - 9 and soon follow the flip

I like your idea of playing them music. I always thought it would be nice to play them morning bird songs ( dawn chorus ) at lights on as it is said to open the stomata. Then play them sounds of thunder lightening mid day and evening bird song near lights off etc lol.


I see you have an air con in your room, which i need to get too! does the exhaust from the aircon create any smells or do you have it hooked up in some way to a filter ( I did see a filter in your room but thought it was for general exhaust )

Thanks brother, i play them as much music as i could, some may call me crazy i could actually feel/see the plants thrives more v.s none music. Sometime i just sit in there for hours and hours when lights are off or on.

I feel i am one with them under the big o HPS

Carbon filer is attached to 500CFM vortex to get rid of the smells and hot air,

AC is on timer when temp hit 85F in there and will turn off when temp drop 78

I have 2 extra intake that can not be seen in pictures, they are on the side walls, they have 2 filter pads each and been working great keep the tent real clean.

As of now HPS is on for 16 hours and MH is on for 8 hours to balance, once the flip i will fill in 2 HPS instead of 1hps 1mh.

Checked the run off. clean at 6.5, no smells.

Will start stronger dose this weekend, yopdate soon

AC is a heavy duty unit that i paid a lot for it BUT im loving it so far, its one of the best portable unit i've ever own, at 7000 BTU it could cool down 2k at 65F that is the coldest i've seen,

We also tested it with a 3k set up and it keep the temp right under 80. It also have a dihumified function
and no water dripping, it has it own auto water vaporate ( keep it dry all day all night )

ALso it only run on 600 watts or less hehee

Does the comprser cycle on andoff like it gets it to the temp 78 and then cycles off for a regulated amount of time like 2-3 minutes? Which can give the room long enough to heat above 85-90? Ever seem anything like that?

What did the unit cost ballpark?

It does goes off when temp cool down, the fan is still running but the compressor is off, when temp get hot the compressor will kick in, it never went over 90.


i paid around 250 for it.

Ya come on down and taste it,
It smells very fruity with and some foul smell like dead fish/food. i also got a bottle of the oil. It made mehead spin a lil the smoke is smooth and the high is good also, last about 2 hours.
