I grew a couple of them, right after they were released. It's something I definitely will come back to. I only had one female, and a male (only popped four, and a kitten killed two), but the female was that tootsie roll, rose water thing. Didn't produce enough to gauge the effects, it was a tiny little pole plant. I made some f2's, but with such a runty female I wasn't too excited to grow them out. Ran those outside, in a bad year with lots of pest pressure and septoria everywhere. But I will pop the rest of the pack from C/C sometime here. The flavor was outstanding.
Cool man thanks for sharing your expeience. Yes the terps are outstanding. I'm also finishing up a puck herer that I made..

Puck S1, from El Jefe. Ive been bending on all of them, and a slight defoliation, and some. They also bounce back, quickly from bending, so, I bend on them sometimes 4 times a day. The ones Ive not defoliated yet, you cant hardly tell the side brainching is responding, but it is, and I will get more severe with the bending on a couple, and will take a few leaves off, as I already have, on a few others.
The plants are responding surprisingly well, to the bending, and slight defoliation, and the side branching, look promising, especially considering the Puck, is mostly single cola dominant.
I really dont like to take leaves off, but will if needed. It does make the side branching respond much better

This one, is about 2 weeks behind the first one. All the plants that came up, look good, but had about a 40% germination rate, while the others I germed, had 100%.
5 PNWHP x Puck 100%
2 Fem ACE KA5Hz-100%
2 Feminized Destroyers-100%
3 Relic Cough BX3-100%

The next 2, I have been bending, but havent taken any leaves off.And they have righted themselves, at this photo, and itheywill get bent, again. Its a constant process, for a while, as they are stubborn, and really have a good deal of vigor, even though they grow slowly. They are tuff.

Side branching on this one, is exploding.

Bob Hemphill, got the Red Leb cut, from Kagu, of Coastal Seeds, who Bob also used to work with.
I believe it originally came from Holland, and the specific pheno, is called-The Tootsie Roll Pheno. It was supposed to be Howard Marks-aka-Mr Nice, favorite marijuana. Or, its possible it came from USA, and went to Holland. This I do not know. But, it too, has been around, a very long time.
Bob worked with Kagu, at Coastal Seeds, before starting C&C.
Ive read the Leb x Puck runs 40% Leb x 60% Puck phenos.

I'm sorry I should have been more clear. I have the Red Leb x Puck, from Bob Hemphill.
But if you're looking for straight Leb, check Kwik Seeds or Real Seed Co. They used to carry it, un-hybridized.

But yes, I smoked a little of Mr Bob's version. I only grew two plants a couple years ago, just because I couldn't stay out of that pack... the female was a little runty thing, but had lovely tootsie roll and rose water smell and flavor. I did make some f2's, but I wouldn't want to pass those out since the female was such a runt.

ok thanks.. I am growing straight Lebanese but I think its different than red leb...

it is finishing

I will grow this out and see how it does..

I heard that leb hash plants had the right style of high but it took a lot of plants to make much hash....due to not being slathered in resin

the Puck HP side of that cross looks like to could give it stature and resin..

those leaves on @nick11 photo have unique look ..

ok enough from me..

The high is supposed to be awesome. My lone female was so small, and so full of seeds I only smoked a couple of bowls, and all mixed with everything else I was smoking at harvest, so I can't say. The smell and flavor were/are amazing though. Tootsie roll smell was very pronounced, with a rose water back end. Stem and petioles were red streaked, or maybe straight red, I don't really remember which. But I do remember it being red.

Heres an underneath shot, the foliage is very dense. Ill probably have to do some work upon flowering as far as thinning her out some. Mine looks like a perfect 50 50 between both parents atm. Fans are sawtooth.

I only have vegging plants atm so plenty of updates 😄. Got nothing else to share but this lady rest are babies

Ever try bending it over to force the side branching out? All the secondary shoots will get as much light as the growing tip.

I don't think it's possible this plant isn't flexible at all. I will defoliate bigger fan leaves before flower to allow more light. The one I grew previously the same it won't take any kind of training, but nice branching. It's the back plant..

I've heard the Sinai from Kwik seeds has the same nose/flavor, so maybe they're related?

2 PNWHP x Puck BC1-F2-NWSun-MALES I killed today.

Really nice looking plants too. Look as good as any I have left. Too bad they couldnt be saved, but light/space doesnt allow.
They look almost identical, except the 1st one, is slightly taller. 2nd one has better-stronger branching. Both were really easy to grow.
I also lowered the light down a few inches. The closest plants, are 17 inches from the 1000w Halide 6500k.
While I have no ePAR Meter, I fathom to say, they are getting Blasted, and show no signs of any kind of leaf /light stress, which further reinforces my Belief, that why so many using LED, AND GROWING IN A TENT, OR EXTREMELY CONFINED SPACE, and their plants show signs of leaf stress, with even as low as a 95w LED, Is because, they arent getting anywhere near the needed Fresh Air Exchange, as needed, to utilize all of the light
They were 20 inches, and I lowered it 3in, to 17. They started as Seedlings, until repot, under a 95w Corncob LED-5000k, but was only used in a 18 inches x 10 inches area, and 18oz Solo Cups. I kept the light no more than 10 inches from the furthest one away, and they grew extremely compact, and needed to be repotted 1 week before they got final repot. The bulb I ordered was a week late, because it took a tour of the USA, before I got it.
Repotted into 3 gallon grow bags/Promix BX-Gaia Green 4-4-4-Azomite- Epsom Salts in water.

I overdid it a bit, on 1 of the Destroyers with Epsom Salts, and caused a slight Calcium lockout, so I cut it out for that plant for a bit, and cut back, on the others.
I decided to use a 1000w Hortilux HPS to flower. I was going to use a 1000w Halide all the way through, but seeing how, this will be the only grow this year, I do think the HPS will yield a bit more, but still think potency wise, the Halide is as good, or better. But no doubt the HPS will produce more.
Ill also raise the HPS up a bit,-probably back up a bit. The HPS also covers a bit more area vs the Halide. I feel Halide is really best for a 3.5 x 33.5 area, though it will cover a 4 x 4, the HPS does cover a 4 x 4 with stronger light, so I can spread the plants out a slight bit more, and not lose any intensity.
I do like to get the lights as absolutely close as possible, and this will decrease the amount of coverage.

But Im convinced most light stress is caused by inadequate fresh air exchange. Outside, the CO2 levels are 421ppm, and the Sun, is 2100umol, and they grow just fine, under those conditions, and the sun, at high altitude, is even stronger, and the air thinner. UVA/B, is off the charts in Ecuador-Columbia-Andes Mountains.
These were 20 inches from the light, and off to the side. Not directly under the light., but still getting really strong light.

thanks

I have some old sinai from vibes collective days..[some day]..

I checked the leb i am growing..they look so unmodern and SOheirloom landrace likentge bleb field photos....I could use more resin..I am getting some sort of smell....

but high resin is not in the description...

I don’t buy from seed company’s much..I do rely on first hand descriptions by people who have grown the varieties..
