Live concert streams are all the rage, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are joining the trend Aug. 30 in honour of their new record, "I'm With You", which drops that same day.
The California titans will be screening "Red Hot Chili Peppers Live: I'm With You" in cinemas all around the world to celebrate the long-awaited record. The movie, which will feature the band performing the new album in its entirety along with a few classic Chili Pepper jams, may not be technically "live" but since it's being shot in Cologne, Germany just hours before the global screening we still think it's a pretty impressive feat.
Word has it this may be the band's only full performance of "I'm With You".
So where will the movie be screened? Unfortunately, we don't have the exact cities or cinemas yet, but if you head over to the film's website, you can see all of the countries that it's set to appear in.
According to a message post on the film's website (via Exclaim): "Cinema links will be live tomorrow, Aug. 5 when tickets go on sale. Please check back then." So you can keep tabs on what countries and cities will host the Chili Peppers' flick on Aug. 30 and the select dates that follow. "
