Wow, Lap! Those beds are SICK. Ive been doing recycled soil for a couple years now and its great for simplicity for sure. Ive been playing with larger containers/veg times/ less plants as well but im still hand watering like a goofball.

That casey is monstrous!

Bro, I really am loving the recycled soil. Coupled with the beds and the Blumats, my life has never been easier!

looks real good.r u adding any microbs ?ive heard fungi produce lots of Co2.jus my 2cents

The Espoma Biotone Super Starter Plus that I add has quite a few beneficial bacteria and fungi, as well as a bunch of other good amendments.
A buddy of mine said the reason my co2 levels are as high as they are is because I'm in the basement.
That may be part of the reason, but I think my beds and my micro herd are a big part as well:

That's with no added gas into my sealed rooms.

I'm drunk tonight and took a bunch of pictures. I swear, these plants are looking PERFECT so far. This recycled soil thing is the SHIT.

I'm at 22 days.

Wow that Casey is just phenomenal. And all the earlier flower shots are setting up proper. That cheese is gonna stack.

Do you know what pheno of LA you have? I had one for years that grew super slow, had super fat fingered leaves that turned nearly black, and had these amazing purple black bubba kush like nuggets that tasted like nothing on this planet. Cant wait to see how yours fills out.

Can you break down a little more detail on your beds? You mentioned you are just now playing with fewer plants. What was your old method?

I ask so many questions cuz ive been getting great results plugging 6-9 clones into a 20gal smartie and flippin it down right away. Lookin at ways to reduce veg time in soil and it seems giving them an enormous container helps to get closer to the type of stretch you see in dro.

Finally, are your beds custom made or just 8 75 gal smarties? Im really stoked to see how much ground you are covering with 2k. Its amazing to see log cola chunks like that with 25w/sf!!

A really interesting farmer to read about no-till techniques and such: Masanobu Fukuoka - guy was really quite amazing with his agriculture and what he did. Just some free time research.

Plants are looking great, Lap! :respect:

I would also suggest that next time you re-amend the soil, you add some dry molasses (1c per tub) to the mixture. Ladies really seem to enjoy it. Another thing you might consider, is food grade diatomaceous earth (1/2c per tub) for a bit of quick acting silica to offset the long term break down rates of the greensand.

Then again, lol, you might just want to leave well enough alone - looks as if things are working mighty fine the way they are! Great to see you running a thread! I always loved watching you work!

:lurk:
