Recomended air flow for vented hoods?

S

slackerbri

Well I was all set up for the ducting but then the last hole I needed cut didnt happen, I'm one handed due to a broken wrist and cant work the saws-all by myself, so now reading pulling is the way to go so I am glad I am not having to switch shit around.

Wll any opinions as to weather I am good with the 6" ducting and 450cfm Vortex fan? I am considering upgrading to an 8" and using a reducer if anyone has thougts on that?

Thanks everyone for all your input

slack dont reduce if your run bigger except where you need to connect to smaller. Bigger ducting means you can run your fan slower and for less time which reduces noise and electrical usage and wear and tear on you gear.
