Recomend a soil for seed starting

Hey guys,

Im hoping I can get some recomendations of a soil or soil mix to start some seeds in.

I want a relatively easy soil, where I can just add plain water, ppm 50, ph 6.7, when it dries out, and there will be nice lush growth.

Eventually they will be transplanted either into more soil or possible into CoCo, and used in a breeding experiment.

Any info or opinions is welcome tks,
MR^^

I have used Miracle Grow seed starter mix on my current grow. The sprouts were tremendous, and you don't need to spend a lot or go to a hydro store for those trying to be discreet.

Thanks guys^^

So we got Promix-hp with a trace of nutes....

Not sure where to get promix-hp and I dont really want to have nute while they are young and fragile.

Miracle Grow seed start mix...

Sounds pretty easy, im just worried about the time release ferts and or it might be too hot. Anyone else have experience with it?

Black Gold and Perlite.....

Sounds the best to me, I can get Black Gold easily, and I use to use it along time ago with great results. Although when I used it, I ammended it greatly with alot of ingredients, including dolomitic lime. Will the PH of plain Black Gold and Perlite be ok at least for the first week or 2 ?

Any other suggestions, tips, info is welcome and appreciated,
MR^^

There are no time release ferts in Miracle Grow Seed Starter Mix. There is a very small amount of fert, but doesn't burn seedlings. It is made especially for them. My current grow, I started 2 crops 16 days apart. The second group was in MG Starter mix, and after 5 days, the leaves were bigger than the leaves on the plants that started 21 days previous! It is a very light mix. Just fill up a solo cup and you are off. You will transplant them after a week or 10 days. No worries. I will be using it from now on. Sold everywhere-Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc.
