Ready to make plans for the 2011 IC420 Cup!

^^^ For one thing...you were there in July, which is peak season for higher accommodation rates in the dam....middle of summer and when tourism is at it's highest due to better weather and summer work/school schedules, vacations, etc.

The rates in April are considered shoulder season.....not the lowest, and not the highest.

Whether we will be able to coordinate packages to include accommodations I'm not quite sure about, it takes an incredible amount of time for one person to dedicate to something like that. I do have a few ideas though...and if it comes to fruition, will post it up here.

Can someone who has experience attending give a rough estimate of what hotel rooms,apartments or wherever u stay costs? Just trying to get a general idea on how much I will need to save for the trip etc. Thanks!

About 40 -60 euros a night including a very small breakfast.
Check out the hotel sites in Amsterdam. Its an easy thing to find out.

Oh, and staying on a houseboat is great! Really friendly vibe on the boat we stayed on for new years - no smoking weed on the boat though, but you may find one that will let you!

Awe man... I won't be able to get there this year, but in 2012 my wife and I will be there over the cup. I'm really excited to meet all of you that I've known for several years here online. It'll be our first time in Amsterdam. Were actually planning the trip for Italy, but since it'll be around the time of the cup we couldn't pass up the opportunity to be there for it. And she can finally get me to stop talking about going to the cup. I hope everyone enjoys their time this year and we'll see you in 2012.

Organized events take place on those dates....but many who attend choose to arrive earlier, and/or stay longer...making a full week or longer out of their whole Amsterdam experience.

I could not possibly be more excited, will be my first time in Amsterdam!

Booked seven days and my flight, and if all goes to plan will have something to submit.

no need to enter ,,guests are welcome and allowed to buy judges packs,the more that enter the bigger the judges packs ,,,
