Northern Lights isn't the best tasting, but is well known for "hittin the spot"!! Go with a trusted version such as Sensi Seeds Banks. Good Luck curing medical needs.;)

Grat3fulH3ad- Have you grown out the POG13xG13BackCross yet? If so, do you have any pictures and/or a grow & smoke report? Or any links to grow/smoke reports from other people?

Ken- I read your post about how strong the G13 is. Did you grow it, or just smoke it? If you have pics & grow/smoke report could you give me a link?

If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. I am also very interested in the BlueberryXNLxG13 from them also.

Sorry to highjack the thread here. As far as must have strains, it used to be a good BG C99, but it makes me too paranoid now. Fantastic smoke though. Jack Herer is a strain that I think everyone should try at least once. I had that strain in my garden for 4 or 5 years straight. For pain, a nice strong Indica is great. Like someone mentioned above, a real Afghani is hard to beat. Black Domina's good at putting you on your ass too. Check out British Columbia Seed Company for some real nice Indica varieties http://www.thebcsc.com/index.asp

Some of the top I have enjoyed are, White Widow when grown and cured correctly, AK47, and some shit about 12 years I can't even tell you what it was!!!! I wish I knew! That memory is still in my head:eek:
Keep it growing

I have to add another strain here. A while back, I gave a friend of mine cuttings from my Brother's Grimm C99 mother (it took me almost 3 years to find that mom). I also gave him pollen from my 4 male C99's. They were also the best males I came across in the years I grew the cindy.

He took the C99 males and crossed them to a killer AK-47 mother he had. He also crossed a few Ak males to my C99. So, he crossed both ways. He gave me a bunch of it, and let me tell you, it is some top-notch smoke! It still needs to be stabilized. There were 4 different pheno's I noticed. Each has a bit different high. Smell and taste are similar among them, with 2 distinctly different smells. One has a semi-C99 smell to it, with more subtle undertones and this sickly sweet smell. The other is more of a spicey, kind of skunky smell but still has that grapefruity C99 smell to it. Both are amazing and stink up the whole damn house. The taste is what makes me smoke bowl after bowl. It kind of has this NL taste to it, but that old-school NL. It's also kind of grapefruity/sour/skunky. It's really kind of hard to describe. I'm not good at this. The high has such a great body to it. It gives you the coolest feeling in your chest. You really feel it in your forehead too. It's a creeper though. You feel it in your head almost right away, and then about 5-10min. later it just hits you all at once and it hits you hard. It's real cheery for me. It's a great combo of the C99's up sort of high, with a lot of added body to it. It kind of speeds you up and slows you down at the same time, if that makes any sense at all.

Anyway, I noticed the cross is for sale, but don't remember the seedbank I seen it at. I highly recommend this strain though. My friend promised me a good amount of the AK-Cindy seeds, since I gave him half the parent stock. I am not sure how many seeds he made this time around, but if I recieve enough I will send out all the freebies I can to you guys. Trades are always cool too. If I don't have enough this time, I will next time around for sure. I'll be talking to my friend within the next week or so, and I'll let anyone who is interested know what is up.

Rez- I'd be more than happy to send you some seeds if you'd like to play around with the cross. Even if you only grow it for head stash. It's worth a go in the garden for sure.

I'll hopefully have the seeds soon, and I will let you guys know. If your interested, send me a PM.

Hi Hi High! wow... a whole lot of answers from everyone. *smiles* Cannot claim to have tasted every strain out there, but in my few minutes of smoking *winks*... there are many that would make my list too. To keep it narrow... sorta like if you were stranded on an island with three (and not for crossbreeding... guess that would mean different picks....) would have to grab these:

#1 Sage (or Big Sur Holly as its sometimes known on the left coast). Have been growing her now for some time... truly have a "love affair" with her. Not sure how she would address "Med Needs" tho... but unless Sage N Sour turns out to be nuch better... SAGE is my first pick

#2 Jack of some type... my current fav is HGF's "Jah Herer".. best tasting pot for me is amost always some type of Jack. RE: an above question about Sensi "Jack Flash"... thats yummy pot... mine haven't ever finished as fast as some people's seem to do *shrugs* Just as a side note... an currently paying around with some of Rez's Bottle Rocket... (haven't someked it yet as they are only 28 days in flower)... but they sure look to my eye like some type of "super Jack"s ... VERY Robust. But from what I've grown and smoked.... Jah Herer is the winner for now.

#3 a WWx Afghan cross... real good for Med use too. SOMA has the best one tried here (but lost the cutting). The replacement became HGF's... and its very good as well. Great yeilds... tasty too.

this of course like most here could go on and on... a mighty big list.. *shrugs* and I havent tried many types of stuff out there...
just my 2 pennies worth tho...

teddy: i grew the pog g13 backcross

i've got a couple of pics on og, i'll find em later.

most potent weed i've ever smoked, like it'd been spiked with extra kif.

was a fairly quick flower period, 7-8 weeks.

kinda average yeild, buds were large, but light for an indica, completely covered in trichomes.

effect was total indica knockout/coutchlock, sedative effects. wont send you off to sleep, but puts you in a bit of a trance. think i flowered for too long @ 8 1/2 weeks (was growing it with other strains)

taste was a little weird, not much taste except the 'expansive' effects from the thc, once you get used to that it seemed to have a bit of a melted butter taste.

ken, great shots!
I'm a med user as well. S.A.G.E. and Taskenti. The S.A.G.E. is great during the day and Taskenti to end the day.
