agree with ya... they are like the chinese with their knock-offs...
on the other hand, buying a $180 pack of mr nice;s ssh, and being told u 'should' fine a keeper in a pack is BS... i should find a number of keepers in a pack of 15... and in our experience with mr nice, and other 'breeders' that is not the case...
my favorites are anything not made by the dutch ''breeders'' of yester year... (thx for the neg reps in advance

I just wish more breeders would instead of just givin packs out with a picture of the best plant they could find on the cover.. I would like to have a few pages.. pictures of the mom and dad.. and maybe a little background info on how many times it was crossed backcrossed . worked and stabilized? iunno we need some new guys that actually love the plant.. and want to see good weed everywere. putting out shitty genetics just makes it harder for everyone to obtain good bud.

I'm late to the party but here's my 2c from what I can remember.
Sensi seeds 6/10. I've grown a few of their strains like skunk #1, hash plant and maple leaf indica and they're not bad but nothing to write home about either. I did have a skunk#1 girl that was freakishly fast and potent though which on it's own gives them a few bonus points.
DJ Short 6/10. I've only grown reproductions of his strains which likely bring him down a tad but that said I got what they were bred for and it wasn't the quality of the high above all else. That said many a plant were potent and tasted amazing especially after a cure.
THSeeds 3/10. Their bubblegum was meant to be the original shit and was merely shit. Sure it tasted nice but a high would have been nice. I don't know how their other gear holds up but after the bubblegum grow I wasn't willing to give them another chance.
Crocket farms 3/10, I might have that wrong but I bought their Tangie. It tastes amazing but has zero quality for the high to the point it might as well be hemp.
Ace seeds 9/10, I've grown a fair few of their strains and they're tamed to say the least but in a great way. TBH they've lost some magic along the way but actually being able to grow their gear which would be impossible in it's pure form and in half the time with more than double the yield is something else.
Greenhouse seeds gets a 4/10 as everything I've tried of theirs like white rhino has been average at best and definitely not worth buying.
White label gets a 5/10 as they just produced F2s but there was gold to be found in the numbers.
Cannabiogen gets a solid 8/10 as the only let down I've had was the pakistani chitral kush which made me wish I bought destroyer instead of being a purple plant newb.
Nirvana gets a 4.5/10 as some of their gear was alright but it was clearly a bunch of F2 replications that seemed without the care given by white label though there was still top plants to be found given a decent number run which the price allowed.
I've tried plenty of home made gear before too and honestly most of it was better than what the seedbanks produce. They were also free and not the $5-10+ per seed that usually gets charged. It's like they were produced with the intention of making the best of whats available instead of trying to be commercially viable which makes the world of difference. That said a lot was shit as well. I'd buy from Ace before going home grown again as their gear is literally always amazing but should Ace not be an option I'd definitely go the home grown route over another seedbank.
