It's day F48 in the flowering room. The girls are happy and beginning the drift toward sentience. The buds are into the ripening stage. They're swelling and showing both pistil and leaf color change. They look awesome to me and the room has an undefinable dank, kushy aroma. Not quite done though. I'll call the harvest window open in 7 days and harvest them 2 or 3 a day until done.

That's going to be a great harvest.
Some are looking more developed in terms of hair color than others. Final Sprint, Ladies!

Here's a WIFI bud from the purple pheno. It's the most advanced of the WIFIs but not the frostiest. Hopefully she pushs out more trichomes as she progresses. Looking tasty...

The new clones are about a week off from clone cutting and flower. They look happy and I believe there is enough headroom for them.

And here's a bud taken from mid height on one of the Iced Skunk. I scoped it and estimate 55% cloudy 45% clear trichomes. No amber yet...

You're pushing them

Not sure if i see it correct on the pictures but looks a little bit like Magnesium deficiency. Hope somebody else will chime in on that thought.

Plants looking good.
Curious if you will like the growth of the topped plants more than the others.

Probably, this is when the vegging plants start to take a disliking to their environment. I fed them today with 5ml/gal PBP Grow, 4 ml/gal Liquid Karma and 3ml/gal Cal/Mag. Last watering was PBP Grow only. I've got the light as high as it can go now.

Also, I've typically topped my plants as a matter of course. I think it produces more bud than untopped. My buddy Primobud never topped his. To him, it was a bastardization of the plant. He always had good yield so I think it's more of a personal preference.

Here's a bud from midway down on the purple WIFI. I'm scoping for amber trichomes. There are a few, but not enough to consider harvesting. Getting closer, though.

These two plants are being chopped tomorrow at day F55. They have a nice fade with neutral water for 10 days. WIFI on the left and Iced Skunk right. I'll harvest the plants, 2 a day till finished.

I chopped these two WIFIs today. They were low on water and saggy. They were a pain to manicure as the foliage wasn't standing firm. I got them done, though. Two left to harvest.

This is my hi-tec drying system. Buds in paper lunch bags with a second bag inverted over the other. I've been drying like this for 20 years.

Here are the last two to harvest. They'll be chopped tomorrow.

And finally, here's the clones. I'll be moving them into the flowering room today. They are no longer happy in the veg room. I'll give them 2 days in the flower room at 18/6 and then flip them to 11/13.

Day F1

Second last flowering crop of the season. They look about the same as the last crop at this stage, maybe a little healthier.

I screwed up on the clones and set heat too high on one dome and no heat on the second. It doesn't look like I damaged them as it was only for about 12 hours and they still seem fairly sturdy. (Chalk that up to Smilley smoking too much bud before doing a somewhat complicated wiring job.):smokeit:

Ha, ha, you're right aCBD. A few years ago I spritzed my 2 week old seedlings with pinesol thinking it was water. The funny thing about it is I did the exact same thing the previous year. Talk about being oblivious. :dunno:

I've stabilized the soil temp under the domes at 82C which is about perfect. The first 2 batches of clones were watered with straight tap water. This time, ph'ed to 5.9. They look good and none have completely fallen over so I'm cautiously optimistic. I'd like them all to root so I have more flexibility with the final crop selection.

I've got the yield results from the recent harvest. The WIFI came out as 271g and the Iced Skunk was 226g for a total of 497g. The first crop was 522g so this crop was about an ounce lighter than the first. I'm going to chock that up to a shorter veg time? Anyway, anything close to 500g is acceptable to me.

The new clones are 4 days old. They look good , better than the last batch at 4 days. I think using ph'ed water is helping.

Nice pics, and buds! Really dig the colors of faded leaves and cool blue buds.
When do you do the double bag technique ? After a few days of hang dry or..?

Hi Stuntzii, I start as soon as the buds are manicured, immediately after chopping. After 4 or 5 days I put them in ziplock bags with a hygrometer. Then I alternate back to the paper bags to get to 63% humidity. That's when I take final weight. After that it's into freezer bags for long term cure. Sometimes I have to alternate a time or two to getto final humidity. It's a feel thing.

The new clones are 10 days after cutting. I'd say they are producing roots now. They got 2 hours yesterday without the dome. They'll get 4 hours today, 8 hours tomorrow and then completely dome less.

This is the last batch of clones for the season and these will be the final crop.

I'm very happy with my cloning efforts this season. 100% success and plenty of choices for the final crop selection. I'll probably probably grow mostly WIFI for the final crop as the buds have nicer bag appeal and I enjoy the flavor more. I think the two strains are about the same potency but I have no way to quantify this.
