Greyskull

I got to try some finished SAC2, and let me tell you...

I was THEEEEESSSSSEEEE close to culling her. But she tasted so good, and was sooo strong. I am gonna put up with her a little more even though she is one of few to give me rooting troubles in the ezcloner.

I am stoked on the reports I am hearing of late about the Larry... I took 6 of her (and 6 of HA) yesterday to start my own little "which OG for Greyskull" grow....

Please keep the solid OG info coming in this thread and keep the shit where it belongs... circling the drain.

Whatever

I'm just waiting for someone to provide clarification about Abusive. Honestly the other cuts sound pretty close but some differences. I saw Joeshmoe put it very well one day, at least I thought, 'it's simply OG' and would think he knows a bit about it.

Like swerve said previously... "the best OG is the one you have dialed in"....

One last chance

One last chance

Against my better judgement I'm going to reopen this thread.

I suggest you stay on topic. If you decide you want to push seeds for banned breeders, or breeders that don't help support this site, you're gone. This place doesn't run cheap and we're not going to help push wares for people that want a free ride. This is an expensive site to run. If you don't like that rule. Go somewhere else. I think I've made this point very clear. There will be no exceptions. It's not fair to the breeders that help support this site and there will be zero tolerance for those that think they will do it anyways....You can go cry and say "it's a money thing" and you're right. This is the largest site on the net, with a lot of traffic, and very expensive to keep open. If someone wants to use it to push their wares they can do it like everyone else does....

I also suggest if someone makes a comment trying to start an argument, you ignore it. Gypsy's going to be watching this thread cause I'm sick of the crap.

Second time I've cleaned pages of trolling out of this thread, please don't make a third time necessary. Rez and mikiemikee, keep your disagreements to PMs, there is no reason to let your personal differences ruin other people's threads

To the person that asked about the abusive...

Why I don't consider it a typical O.G cut is b/c the aroma seems to change drastically depending upon the enviorment/nutes & supplements. TO me the most important aspect of O.G Kush that makes it truely special is the intensity of the taste/aroma of the plant... the type of flavor "profile" of O.G is very unique and the sheer quality of taste is extremely special. O.G is the only strain besides some of the diesels/chem family and a few random rarities that coats your taste buds with its flavor and it sticks & stays there for a long time. It might sound strange if you have'nt tried these strains before, but that quality of taste of these strains is on another level.

The abusive usually comes out with a much more mild flavor, or the flavor changes to either more spicy undertones or sweet undertones depending on enviorment. But it does yeild extremely well, grows nice swollen tear drop style calyxs and is as potent as weed gets. So the abusive is a awesome strain, just some of us O.G kush nerds might not quantify it as the O.G in the style of the old school type O.G that created the market

That was me asking about Abusive and kind of confirms a bit what I've seen IF my friend has legit Abusive and SFV cuts...which I think he does. Honestly they looked and grew like two different plants outdoors so have to go back to what Rez said...
And who decides exactly WHAT an "OG Kush" is??
...cause with what I saw don't know how Abusive fits into this picture. For sure solid stuff though. I puffed a doobie from my friend last night and POTENT stuff for sure but just does not seem to fit the 'OG' mold. I've actually always wondered if Abusive is a cross of some sort...and definitely NOT an OG nerd here...lol.

Once again...if I'm wrong here just set me straight cause don't want to perpetuate BS!

I totally agree with what Wick650 is saying...She can hold her own in the potency department though..Just as potent as some of the other OGK's for sure in my opinion..Just missin that classic OG smell and taste...~ogr

So if missing that 'classic' OG smell and taste...should it be considered an OG? For sure she's a hammer though :bashhead:

Thanx for the input!

BTW...those are some wicked Abusive plants there bro...like holy shit dialed in and good skillz :rasta:

Whatever-

Can we please just not even mention rez's name anymore in this thread, do we need to go back in that direction again with this thread? If you are to believe rez's post on the previous page (a post which somehow did'nt get deleted in the re-shuffeling of this thread), there is a small group of conspirators that have created an international demand for O.G Kush based upon long-term covert marketing on internet forums and chat rooms.

The truth is that O.G has been a local favorite and legend in California for over a decade, back in '96 it had as devout a cult following and sold for as much as 8 grand a P and 10K a tray of cuts.

Anyways, to answer that question I guess that the folks with long-term real life experience with O.G Kush in Southern California region are the best people to judge the availble O.G Kush cuts as far as them being similar to the prototypical O.G of yesteryear.

Go ahead and be an independant thinker though and make your own judgements, who cares what others think what matters is whats important for you!

I try to separate 'personality' from the information. For sure the info on Abusive, with what I've experienced, has been confirmed by what you and Raskal have posted and really appreciate it! I keep going back to those pics from Raskal and just drooooool though. The dude has skillz!

Regardless of who the source is this question stuck with me:
And who decides exactly WHAT an "OG Kush" is??
...and it's sounding like Abusive should not be part of this discussion...even though it's great fire IME.

So OG Kush has a fuel/pine sol smell? always assumed it was the oldskool rotten fruit/skunky Afghani.

I have a PurpleWreck (Urkle x Trainwreck) thats as fuely/pinesolish as it gets. I saw something about Urkle & OG Kush mentioned, could that explain it?

I just got a rotten fruit/skunky Afghani pheno from a WOS Afghan Kush landrace, which is why I looked in on this thread.
Haven't smelled this stuff since the 80's... I'm a happy boy!

I'll grab some pics tonight & check back in.

cheers

Right on Wick....My 2 cents ...

Right on Wick....My 2 cents ...

Purely opinion:

The way I see it, yes and I'm gonna mention Rez, is that, in this canna business enviro, "everybody stands on everybody elses shoulders" (Sam?).... There is absolutely NO better current example of this than Rez: Whether you're talking about his ECSD which is essentially a freakish incarnation of primarily super skunk genes (ala, yes Rez, Cali skunk) or the Chem's/Kush's which are also Cali... Cali genetics need to be respected.

Now, having said that: What debt does (at the expense of sounding maudlin) Elvis Presley owe to Blues or Gospel OG's like Robert Johnson or Muddy Waters...Or what debt do the Beatles owe to these OG's? Rez has taken the ball and ran with it and done some pretty phenomenal things. But Rez, man, we all stand on others shoulders...Nobody can "claim" OG kush, especially not somebody from the EC. My 2 cents. Peace.

Cinderella-
there really does not exist a "east vs. west" debate, rather a certain buisnessman likes to frame reality within this context to create a divide and thus loyalties to different vendors... its something manufactured.

LET'S RANK THE O.G CUTS FOLKS, NOT TALK ABOUT BULLSHIT! thanks guys :)

P.S
to answer chef's question, I def. love my trainwreck and their is indeed a strong menthol fuel and lemon zing note within the trainwreck aroma. However these undertones are actually quite different than those found in O.G.

Right on Wick...Agreed.

Right on Wick...Agreed.

This is not an "East Vs. West debate" (even though the Steelers are decimating the Chargers as we speak :), but I think you kinda skewed what I was saying...

Nobody has a claim on genetics (not even the folks from the Kush Valley there...): We all stand on each others shoulders. Agreed, Geography has nothing to do with it, but if you think that there's not a "pissin' match" going on right now, your being naive.

MY POINT was (rather than East vs. West-- that's kinda a pedestrian interpretation, with all due respect :), that nobody has a god given "claim" to better genetics. Time will tell. Peace.
