Yes, I wiped down the sides of the jar inside before I put it back. hehehe I actually cleaned up the jar before I stirred it up as well. Noticed I'd forgotten to do it last week when I pulled the jar down and after the photo.

i love rabbit, both wild and tame. damn fine eating, and following beagles is a blast. but you can starve with a belly full of rabbit, no fat to them. humans have to have fat/carbs to survive.

I try to convince my wife since 20 years, to make garum in the old roman style. 🙂
i don't know if i'd go there. news on the 'net today has articles about how eating garum contributed heavily to the parasitic infestations during the heydays of the Roman Empire. who knew what ancient human poop (coprolites) could show us... :shucks:

I need a new incubation chamber because the hotplate I was using died...

So, I guessed and added additional salt for it to work at room temps, aaaaand I doubt it's going to end up well. :(

The tempeh incubator works great though. lol
