hey guys, long story short i have alot of plants that i manually water, and it's way easier for me to fill up a 5 gal. bucket with my feed pH that...then use that 5gal. to fill up my watering can...ok...can i leave my nutrients bubbling in the bucket for a day or two so i can water the plants i didn't get the previous day...i am using pure blend pro soil form. and cal-mag :joint:

of course!!

Go a step further and brew some earthworm castings tea. Add a couple of cups of castings, some molassas for feeding, your usual nutrients, and an airstone. Let it bubble for 24-48 hours, and stir it every now and then.

This is the only way I feed my plants. Don't worry about the PH or the TDS of the batch either, since those are already taken care of through growing organically.

Don't worry about the PH...

that couldn't be further from the truth...go grab you a bottle of "organic" earth juice bloom...see what it takes your water too at the recommended dosage...

You will find a lot of people here will agree with me. Check out BurnOne's "Organics for beginners" thread at the top of the forum.
Organic pH issues

I hear a lot of people asking or talking about the pH of their organic soil mix or organic nute solution and how they might correct or adjust it. pH in organics is not an issue like it is in synthetic growing.
The best place to settle the pH issues in organics is within the grow medium. A medium rich in humates (humus) is the place to start. Humates work to "buffer" the pH of organic mediums and the nutes you pour (or mix) into it.
Humates come from compost, worm castings and bottled humus. If you use a peat based medum, use dolomite lime to raise the pH of the acidic peat. Dolomite should be used in any soil or soiless medium to provide magnesium and calcium. But since we are talking about pH here, I'll mention dolomite lime's pH correction benefits.
A medium of coir has a pH near neutral (or 7.0). But humates are still neded to allow uptake of organic nutrients that are outside a near neutral pH range.
With an active medium rich in humates you can pour in nutes like Pure Blend Pro, Earth Juice and guano teas with pH anywhere from 4 to 9 without worry. The humus will allow the nutes to be taken up through the roots, even at such an extreme pH reading.
So throw those pH meters away folks and enjoy the ease and safety of organic gardening.

Of course, there are a lot of people here that watch their PH levels, and produce some killer weed, but there are also a lot of people who don't bother with checking the PH and produce equally dank weed. Best of luck!

KK, I don't check PH anymore since I went organic soil with Dolomite Lime in the mix. Havent had any problems of lock out.

my water comes out of tap at 8.0+ after mixing nutes and suck I'm around 7.8

Yes,, you can get lazy if you have a good working soil (working as in PH adjustment or even nutrients, like I am doing now.)

Makes watering a breeze, no more mixing shit, unless I have a calcium finicky strain, then I cal mag and be done with it.

PM me if you want the recipe, it's easy and works like a champ.

You'll find PureBlend Pro is perfectly buffered fertilizer, it will get ph low but it doesn't sway ph too heavily for any extended length of time, you'll love it as a bloom fert.
If you mix a batch and bubble it you can continue bubbling it for a few days until you use it, I will still be good and as mentioned you can add a little molasses and EWC for an active microbial tea.

7.8 is wayyyyy to high man...a stable pH of like 6.25-6.5 is perfect. buy a meter and some pH down and watch your plants thrive

Why introduce a synthetic pH buffer into an organic grow? Have you ever tried a good organic recipe, measured the pH of organic nutes like guano tea which can pH around 8, and poured it on anyway? Try it sometime. You'll see that with a good organic grow medium rich in humic acids and a good nute recipe you'll end up with BIG BUDS. That pH down will kill the microheard fast.

People who have grown with chemicals are always blown away with the fact that pH isn't a big issue in organics. Synthetic and organic growing are two completely different things. Apples and oranges. :beat-dead
