I dont know guys 2lbs per 1k is very doable..I do it reguarly now with a White Whidow pheno that yeilds about 1/2 ounce per clone, I plant aprox 64 clones and get 2lbs per light and am currently running 128 to try to get 4lbs with 2K... This is of course if plant numbers dont scare you.. For good yeilds SOG is the way to go...

You sond exactly like that voice in my head called a conscience.
Well, I was planning on living on the beaches on India in the winter, and the Himalayas in the summer. Perhaps South East Asia too, including Indionesia. After all, for U.S passport holders a 10 year India Visa is possible for almost anyone. I figure $5,000 a year for the next 50 years, that is including inflation over the years. I know I can live comfertably in India, granted I rent and live the local life, for less than $10 a day, as it is equally possible in almost any, non-westernized country, in Aisa...
if your crunching numbers like this your money wont last... shit happens... emergencies happen... your health might decline.. and then what are you going to do with that money??? it sounds like you have all the answers already so i'll just step away.

cway- ive pumped 4p w/ 2k with sour d in a 5x10. but i had to veg the shit outta them. i had 1 plant per square foot. my friends done the same with white whidow. not too many strains/growers can pull this off.

bole- you never know what can happen as far as diseases, mold, heat, ect. depending on a crop entirely for income is very risky money wise. if something bad happens, you could be in the shithole.my landlord actually had to have the house appraised during my grow. i almost shit my pants. talk about anxiety.i had to put all my shit in my flower room , moms, clones, veggers. on the day of the appraisal, i locked myself in my growroom with all my shit and had my girlfriend say i was out of town and i lock all my guns away in there. it worked thank god. good luck bro :rasta: .

Yea 3 months in advance is better than nothing, 6 months just makes more sense to the landlord because they won't mind to much if you decide to bail out at the end of the 6 months. 3 months wouldn't be worth it to them though. Most landlords want a year lease but 6 months upfront is just as good or better for them.

I kinda disagree that going with companies is better than private landowners. It really depends on the circumstance. A company might not have as nice or kept up of a building as a private landowner thus you may need to get someone to come in and fix some plumbing crap or something that was overlooked by the big company? Would be a big hassle. I don't know kinda speaking out of my ass, but I also have experience with companies vs. private and so far I like the private landowner that doesn't live in the area. That is the best in my opinion.

On a side note... like most have mentioned it doesn't seem to be the best idea to but all your eggs in one basket. What if you break your leg or something or just get old and need medication over there? Too many variables to base your entire life on a fixed income especially in a strange place where you know no one. Of course you can always come back to family in Hawaii but then you will possibly have nothing when you come back.

Your life your decision, and sure there are plenty of folks who would do what your planning with $500 in there pocket.. Adventurers crazy people. just not for me, I like security in the future that makes me feel safe. In the end I don't know what I'm trying to say really... Just think about it, like Rudolph said if your crunching numbers like that.. Don't count on everything going perfectly as planned.

I actually already own 3 fileservers. got to if your on HDBits
two of them have 1100w power supply and one has 600w and they run on maximum. got myself almost 20TB of space :nanana: and now we are even in process of putting up a web server so I dont find servers to be a real deal to cover my grows, Im more worried about neighbours if they start to become suspicious on me spending so small amount of time in my flat
Okay, Okay, i see.

Well that is awesome that you have those skills. Nice, i have a friend that can handle something like that, might need to take advantage. got me thinkin

Well it definitely depends where you live, I dont know whats the situation over there with you but over here most apartment/house/condos etc is done by real estate companies not rent-a-house companies, so they take renting like btw, I mean to say its not their main occupation. you just sign the deal, pay some in advance, give them some fees if you leave anything broken when you decide to leave (otherwise they give you back you fees) and thats it, no guards to check on you, and especially no cops to raid on you as along as you keep your mouth shut and you dont have rave parties in your flat.

As for shit happening, thats why I just wana take about $20K and put that in a checking account under my name. I will live about 45minutes to an hour away from my current home, I can always move back if something happens, and I will have another $18k safe to my name with my father that I won;t touch.
As for crunching numbers, well, you gota understand how insanely cheap India is. I know of many westerners who buy a house in the Himalayas for like $2,000. A realy nice house too! After that, if you cook your own food, you are spending only $2-$3 a day. So giving my self $5,000 a year, for the entire duration of my limited lifetime, in such countries is considered filthy, filthy rich. Many places in Asia are that cheap, including south east asia, Indonesia, etc.. Majority of people out there make only a dollar a day or less. The middle class makes about $2-$4 a day, maybe $5 if your lucky...
I have lived out in Inida for about half a year alone, and found many places I would love to settle down and live. With such money, I don't even have to question wether or not I can survive, especially if I find a good way to filter the money and re-invest it legally, into the stock market, or a long term investment plan. I know my father, and his side of my family can help me with the filtering of cash.
This must really sound like a far-fetched dream to some of you.
But know that such a reality is only a plane ticket away.

I've thought about growing to sell, never have, how do you find buyers without bringing attention to yourself? Grow and tell no one and unless you screw up bad there should be no way to get caught. But the moment you sell the risk goes up. Are you planning on selling to one buyer or more? Do you have buyers lined up? I'd be happy to make 1,000 a month. But how without risking security? How do you find trusted buyers, or better yet just one buyer?

unless you live in cali with dispensarys i wouldnt... because like you said its very hard and dangerous to just sell large quantitys or small quantitys to people.

what if you live in a different state with med marijuana laws?

well im sure you could do it, but the thing that makes cali different is all the dispensarys, so you could do with out those but then you would have to deal directly with individual patients and alot more headaches with people with med cards that sell themselves etc. So you could do it but i wouldnt

experaince tells me that the land loards espically slum loards dont give a crap about what goes on in there rentals provided law is not called there regularly and neighbors are not complaining directly to them. payed 4 months rent on a 2 br trailer and land lord was never seen till the day i moved out. that $800 for the 4 months made him forget about everything i did not even have to show id no security no nothing i dont think they even know who i was or did they care!
ok now before i get slagged for renting a 200$ a month shit hole i moved states wasnt sure if i was staying here or not. i have decided to stay and now have a paid for leagally working farm. the 4 months in the slums was all worth it gave me time to find my farm

Rule #1 don't grow large scale at a place you don't own.

Having worked in Real Estate business for a LONG time...there are always situations where things happen other people than you needing access to the place being rented...

When it comes to large scale growing...go with a "Lease to own option" property to avoid potential disturbances!
That way you are the only one in control of who has access to your own place and who does not. Everything else is depending on luck - bad idea in this business!

Good luck man!
