im intrested also mo,
I'm going seal w/C02 soon.
The nute prob sounded like what the prob was.
if so, what were you feeding at and how much did you bump it up to
get it on par with the xtra Co2?

Legion is definitely in to something. Also make sure you ar e still getting close to 10 degree temp drop at night. Also don't buy the hype of 88 degrees and 1500 ppm. More like 78-83 and 800-1100ppm.

HEy moses, did upping your nutes solve your problem??

Im having horrible issues transitioning from my veg tent (1000watts--, unsealed, coco pots floranova at 5ml/gal calplex at 3ml gal and dripclean at .5 ml, hand watering) to my sealed flower room (same 1000w hortis). I have sentinel burner and controller.

I never use to have problems but ive been going nuts over the last year trying to narrow down my problem. thought it was offgassing, low humidity from my a/c, even oxygen deficiency because it always happens within 24 hours when i move perfect plants in. Their ruined fast and get yellowy and stunted with purple stems that snap instead of bend when super cropping. I always have to wait a month constantly topping until they come back to acceptable form. Luckily i still get quality OG, but my turnover sucks! If you or anyone can help i would really appreciate it. i may start my own thread too. thanks!
in my case it seems to have been a calcium deficiency i added calcitic lime to my soil and the problem was solved.

but i did raise nute levels too so its hard to tell exactly what the problem was.

but i did raise nute levels by feeding extra guano to my enriched organic soil. so it is difficult to be sure...

i saw a thread on offgassing from tents it sounds like a serious problem i would look into that too... try post some pics of your condition.

Bump... I'm running a sentinel chhc-4 in a sealed room. I'm using bottles, so fuzzy logic mode is on. When lights are on the c02 ppms are set at 1100 ppms. During lights off the c02 is off, but when lights turn on the ppms are 2500+. Do I need to set something on my sentinel to fix this? I'm reading that plants can produce c02 during lights off, but that much?? I saw the op was having a similar issue, so I figured this would be a good place to start for some help.

are you totally sure the regulator is shutting completely? i have had issues with the solenoids getting stuck and dumping an entire 50lb tank over night...

Thanks for the reply brother.. I was thinking that too. I let my boy use my sentinel regulator so I had to use an old Titan regulator. That's when the issue started. Then I got my sentinel regulator back and still the same issue. While lights are on everything is fine. It stays at the set ppms. It's just when lights go out it's dumping... I'll check tomorrow when lights go out and see if the solenoid is getting stuck. Thanks for the help/idea brother...

In my experience that level is completely normal, in the years since I posted my lights on co2 levels @ 2600ppm, I have had many excellent harvests. You should be good to go!... I really doubt that your equipment is faulty!

Yea I run a co2 burner with the pilot light lit all night plus plant co2 and no issues. When the lights come on I'm usually around 2500 PPM I just let the level fall, the plants will use all of the co2 they can,and the excess isn't harmful as far as I can tell.I'm one of those 1500PPMers though lol
