sorry to tell, that will never endHope all the hostility & bad vibes surrounding Haze can find its way into the distance memories of everybody ...
Its All love my Haze brother(Take this as an addition to your post, not a criticism)
I would also add MadMac, his commitment to spreading O.Haze is certainly appreciated...
Please show us those pics, I like looking at gargantuan plants other can grow. Mine are really dwarves compared to the huge plants I see sometimes here, my biggest outdoor made around 650G so far from a huge tree. One of my aunt have grown a bag seed from some african weed and made around 1,5Kg, that's the biggest plant I've ever seen in front of me, sadly the result were not as extraordinary as the plant was majestic, she was cut too early because not well suited for the local climate.have a bunch of Macs he sent me about four years ago I only got to the “doors x “ (Which was extremely impressive they got gargantuan outdoors I do have pictures
@MadMac @JohnnyChicago @Tom HillDoes anyone know where an average punter like me could find original haze? I really like the idea of it
So no seedbanks im guessing?@MadMac @JohnnyChicago @Tom Hill
These are the first names that come to mind but I'm sure many others have their own to share...
I was looking at " candles of growth" in a short plant tonight. I called it " secondary growth " of bracts stacking like candelabras. I'm not sure what these old seeds are exactly, but I am getting a much better idea as I go. Maybe Willy D f3 's. Or Willy D f2 x sk#1.Are you a stem rubber ?? ..lol
This how we pick males... by isolating the best of the bunch on phyllotaxy and leaf patterns,, then rubbing the stems to find out which one holds the minerals. It's a b/s way of predicting the outcome of recessive genes in lineage,, but keeps us busy during the winter months
Rogue plants -
Q. How common are rogue plants in Haze (and Skunk) lineage?
We'd sometimes find a throwback in the Haze#19xSkunk patch,, maybe 1 : 200 female plants. These rogues were slightly shorter than the "Haze types" with candles of bracts that towered up on themselves. Characteristically these single plants stood out from all the other hybrids from the same family group in the garden.
The rogues had a thick creamy smoke and was some of the best ganja we ever cropped n smoked. Jah bless all involved.,
peace

Before I knew this cross existed I made my own with Sk#1 x Chocolope. Excellent cross. Then later I found out I was kind of walking in the footsteps of the skunk man and I thought that that was cool. Just to get a glimpse of the awesome work he did.
Very interesting. I made a Sk#1 x Chocolope cross and an Early Haze pheno popped up. It had a lot of skunk influence in the structure, but the resin, incense and buzz was Haze- like. I found the buzz to be angsty but loved the hash. Beautiful flowers. Super resinous.A 8-10 week Haze could be made. It would require an Original Haze that was a bit faster, crossed with a very early Sativa like my S African Durban Poison. Then select the F1's for Haze taste & smell & potency and as fast flowering as possible and make F2's.
The males may need to be trialed for specific combining ability to the females and to test their progeny to be sure you have the fastest most Hazy male.
If you grow out enough F2's you will find one that is Haze but fast flowering. But it may take a few hundred or even thousands of plants to find what you really want, a fast flowering Haze.
This will give you a clone that is what you want, a fast flowering Haze, but if you want a seed line that is fast flowering and basicly Original Haze it is a whole lot more work, all the males and females need to be progeny tested before the best are selected to yield only fast flowering Original Haze's.
I made Original Haze X early Sativa crosses, but did not make the F2's I just was playing around to see what happened. They were a bit earlier, between the O Haze and the Sativa, but not a super fast Haze like you want. It is not so hard to do, I have even made O Haze F2 hybrids that looked and tasted and smelled like O Haze but they had no THC, I crossed them with a very very low THC variety to see what happened and in the f2's I found plants that everyone who saw them would swear were potent Haze, but they had almost no THC or Cannabinoids. They did smell and taste great.

I inadvertently made a RKS type of plant by crossing Willy D F2 Firecracker and making f3s. Grapefruit lemon lime terps with Afghan funk that cures to buds with some sweetness breaking them apart , but cured it smells like roofing tar and tobacco. Not what I enjoy either. Looking for better phenos now. Buds cured smell earthy, hashy, gassy, musty. Roofing tar. The hash I made smells like lemon lime. This was the imposter cut I culled recently.Ask Gypsy to post the info I gave him for Original Haze X Skunk #1 and the Thai Original Haze X Skunk #1.
I thought he did a long time ago.
I have no interest to re-release Roadkill Skunk at this time, I do not like it and I have no interest to spend time working on things I do not personally even like. Maybe later I will, just for all the people that keep requesting it. But for now I have things that keep me busy.
