My outdoor Multi Haze looks close to being done, and a low temps in the low 20s°F coming this weekend.
She taught me something though! I thought only thick indicas could handle heavy frosts, but this Haze took about a dozen frosts, and even a few nights where it dropped below freezing when I found ice in standing water.
Always try things for yourselves. I've always heard you can't grow long flowering sativas in Virginia, everything has to be harvested by end of October. I made it 25 days past that.

Nice to see some actual flowers @ here  - I grow em in upstate NY, you’re right never listen to others BS, half of it is coming from folk whom don’t even do the do :)

Excellent @CannaRed! I've always viewed forums (@ least after the first few years) as "general knowledge"... grows like your/this actually helps ppl.. and yes, agreed 100%, do it yourself. If you can, try experimenting... if you grow for profit, diff story.. if you grow for love and hobby and, well, whatever... experiment. Doesnt mean you wont lose some plants, just means you can figure things out.. dunno if that means anything...Anyways, just want to say, I agree, and beautiful Multi-Haze my friend!

Edit: just want to clarify, I don't mean to say ppl who grow for profit don't share the love of this plant, especially icmaggers...

A few people that live in Virginia that I got to know over the years told me they could not grow even a 50% Haze outdoors there to completion.

Now that it's legal if there is a will, there is a way and that's a greenhouse outdoors.

If you can find a fast flowering plant 12 to say 14 weeks and trick it to sex faster by reducing the day length, that would work also.

I think this type of sativa can handle frost thanks to their ancestors from high altitude and their flower's structure much more open allow them to resist mold easier than more compact indicas. I've had a few plants going to mid-november outdoor without problem despite a very humid climate who would turn to mold any too tight flowers at lat 44N. Most of the plant had to be done by mid october to not be plagued by grey mold except ones with a strong enough sativa %.

Oh man, @harvestreaper, I grew out the Indian Skunk from Seedsman back in the early 00's, and that pic is bringing me back... are you getting any pepper (black pepper) aromas? I'm jealous... 🙂
not much pepper but very woody,, spicey,, wild geranium strong terps considering the plant matter ,,typical kerala imo zero sk ,,hard to believe this an f1 maybe they are from f2s which might explain the pheno ,dusted her with some haze pollen an have a rooted cut if shes any good ,,that indian sk was nice crossed it to the doors few years back an had one i enjoyed that sadly got lost in a security issue .,,i got my eye on subs sk haze to hell of a haze cross imo old sam put out some great ones

I know y'all are probably getting tired of my posts of my one Multi Haze plant, but there won't be too many more, I promise! I chopped down most her last night and this morning. Very pleased.
I left 8 or 10 branches as an experiment to see how cold it actually has to get to harm her. Temps are dropping tonight and for the next 7 days the high will be 40°F and lows will get down in upper teens.
I'm still a Sativa/Haze newbie, but this seems to have a fuller aroma. I usually say all Sativas ive come across smell the same.. this still has that smell, but more.. not sure if it's the pheno or because it was sungrown. I'll be interested to see how the same plant does indoors.
Oh... The best part... I showed it to a grower buddy/mentor that never really reacts to new plants and he said "oh...now I like that.". That's probably the closest I'll ever get to an "atta boy" or a pat on the back from him. I'll take it! 😂

I found this in my sativa closet, it had sprouted in the pot with one of the Multi Hazes. I gently lifted it out and transplanted it to its owns lil fabric bag, and put it in veg chamber.
I don't see any seeds in the buds, nor nanners, and I've never had any Haze herm on me in the past. In the closet was 3 multi haze sisters and one MalPan x Quantum Kush. These plants were stressed from a messed up timer cycle, so something happened.
I labeled it Volunteer Sat and gave her a drink of Recharge.

far beyond driven...
the magic haze ;-)
we're getting close the finish line...
well this was a test grow from seed without any topping or any other method ...
just wanted to see how they grow in pot's and if the organic way with biotabs gear works well with the haze... always looking for stress free grow methods and this one works very well for me... so the temp's play a big role... since it's cold and frosty I'll only get 20°C on the top's ... it's to cold an the plants start to finish faster... like in nature... I'll could do better and add a heater but it's good to see how they survive and do... next year will do the same... plant in summer ... let grow in smaller pot's (10liter) and when they start to flower in autumn transplant and flower indoors ... promise ... gives huge tree's
plants still very healthy ... only biotabs tabs and organic soil (30 Liter)
