thx for validating what I tried to explain to her .. Lolit's not such an odd question it seems..... my wife asked me the same thing just recently LOL
I would go way out on a limb and say not likely
Can happen, but only with her cousin the hop
the answer seems to be no, but there is a route i'm curious about
can cannabis can be grafted onto a hops stalk?
one strange thing that can turn up in grafting is something called a 'sport', the graft mutates and something new emerges
it's quite rare to happen, but it would be wild to get such a thing with pollen, perhaps pollen that has both cannabis and hop genetics
thank you, i think that would be a 'no' to my question
years ago I had some old hippy booklet about growing weed. It was like a comic book. I don't remember who wrote it or where it got too. it had a small chapter on grafting hops and cannabis. never tried it or investigated. wish I still had that book..... would be a good chuckle.
So I have been told, you can graft a hop vine onto a cannabis rootstock but there is little point, as all the valuable chemicals are made in the buds, not the root
from the book ..THE CONOISSEUR'S HANDBOOK OF MARIJUANA ..by WILLIAM DANIEL DRAKE JR quite a bit written with illustrations on grafting weed to hops ...View Image
