Question about landrace Kush.

When was the last time somebody went over to the Hindu-Kush Mtns. and brought back some landrace beans.

I've heard it's inbreed overthere, but I can't help but wonder what other native forms of Kush still are out there.

Who brought the the hindu-kush west in the first place?

I also wonder what other genetics have mixed in with the regions kush's since trade routes have been used through this area for a long time.

Feel free to add any and all thoughts on LANDRACE Kush......please not kush hybrids.......thanks :)

well there are a lot of kushes out there. Many different breeders with Hindu Kush, and as far as I know its made from Afghani. I'd like some landrace Kush.

Rez has a new Kush line coming out this years. it will have an IBL kush used in crosses as well as IBL pure IBL beans out with them.

As far as roots of Kush in area , once could assume that they were from india or nepal and brought their may years ago. Indicas are used more for hashish production than herb itself. They grow many short single cola plants . Very hearty and very sticky. Hard to pinpoint if they were even brought there since so many theories. One that is interesting to me is about india smacking into asia. India having landraces and then spead throught asia , adapting to climates]

I thougth Kush originated from the Hindu-Kush Mountain Range that is in S.E. Afghanistan and North West Pakistan.............

Afghani being from lowland area's or highland area's................

Kush is unique YES?

Chitral is a line from Kush. Well not the Chitral offered by seedbanks...

For the second time if i remember well, mriko had some pure Chitral, collected by himself there ... Mriko knows a lot about these areas but don't know if he's on ICmag...

Ya, I think Chitral is a village area........I'm very curious how many folks have brought back seeds from the Hindu-Kush Mountains........As it seems that the cannabis is unique to the area :)

What is the definition of a true kush?

Bluehemp has a landrace Kush out called Dark Kush that may be worth checking out. i have some that have been vegging now for a little over a month. i only have the Bubba Kush to compare it to when it comes to Kushes though, if she is as good as that i'll be happy. :high:

That Dark Kush looks very interesting.......did you order form Bluehemp..........do you live in the states..............I'd like a pack of the Dark Kush but I've never ordered form Blue Hemp.

But G.... Rez is gonna sellout Kush. Sell every fuckin bean he puts up for aucrion that is.Haters hate yet his beans fly off the shelf when put up. Rez is makin Elvis, Genuis , IBL Kush and many other elites available to masses.I dont get what makes people so mad at that?

sorry if I stick up for what I believe in...... proper breeding ethic..... call it what you want, I don't know about you, but I can't just stand by and watch the beautiful Sour Diesel of my childhood be treated so poorly.... It has done so much for me..... the least I can do is stick up for its original genetic representation and the parents that came together one magical afternoon to create it.... My Love for the Diesel Lineage ends with the original sour d.... anything bred beyond that or involving sour d..... is not of my concern.... Dawg, Mass SS, NL 5........ forever..... one love

Unless you can do better than rez didwith " the diesal of your childhood" you should shut the fuck up. Its like someone fat lazy 40 year old sitting in the nose bleeders at the staple center saying" Kobe cant play for shit" Either prove it or shut up.

If you truly have love for diesel then you should be happy that Rez came out with some beans with Real diesel genes , unlike Soma's. But i digress



I look forward to seeing the new Kush lines. Like to have an indica in my place to replace my old shihks I got rid of. SOur d is fun, but cant smoke at night. Need a kush to lull me to sleep
