ya i had a Blue widow that was rediculous.. the one i had wasnt showing purple hues at all.. but some doo. and the one i had was amazing.. great bag appeal great buzz. smell was like Fruity skunky.. but the taste was just as strong as the smell. that was the best part.
and dinafem says it became a crossing with a Superskunk x Northern Light and the Dinafem Seeds Diesel line was derived .. is this the same lineage as the other DIESELS?
I have grown power kush, super silver, diesel, blue widow, white widow, auto cheese, original amnesia, dinachem, and critical plus all from dinafem. They are all plants worth growing. Their super silver was one of the most productive and potent strains i've grown, and that's from a list of like 50 strains, maybe even more. They never have hermie issues, ever. I'm not really picky when it comes to who's seeds im growing, but I am picky when it comes to hermie issues, and quality of the smoke. I've had more than one of my buddies tell me that the power kush is their favorite tasting smoke ever. Not all their strains are uber weed, and that's ok with me, they grow good and taste good. Not everyone likes to be incapacitated on the couch, their strains keep my friends happy, while i get to keep the killer shit for myself. Strength isn't always everything, flavor is to me, and dinafem kicks ass in that aspect.

I to got some dina freebies and my experiance was similar the blue widow was danm fine the blush hash plant...not so much...I still have a pair of freebies from them mmmm...the white siberian and a white widow and I'll try to keep an open mind when I pop them in the room...can't judge what I have not experianced...make's one sound like a fool....regarding Auto's...ran 3 cycles last year.....had 28 in at one time.....didn't like how they grew....the extra cost of running lights 20 hours a day...and for me I found the variation was a bit much of the last 28 we tried....we had mayybe 15 or 16 different pheno's...IMHO not stable as of yet..and I can't swear to this but I was under the impression that trying to make seeds from them will result in even less stability in fact we two the didn't auto ...regarding the buzz....most were of a commercial quality nothing remarkable nothing special. My opinion doesn't mean they are junk by any means it only means my experiance with was less then steller....hope this helps.

Where's the talent in crossing two of any cannabis strains? It's hardly a skilled trade half the time and I think people contradict themselves when they get all moralistic on this subject.
People like Bodhi get rave reviews for putting out untested unstable crosses of two nice mother plants - and that's not a dig at Bodhi, just a statement of fact - and then dinafem get criticism because they outsource their breeding to people with a larger facility. If anything you should expect more stability from a setup such as that at Dinafem - or whoever does their seed production - than you should from someone who does it in house, because a lot of these boutique breeders are just fellas with a small room to work in, no facility for large scale selection and stabilisation, and who by and large are mostly just semi-casual growers making a bit on the side while enjoying a profitable hobby.
If you're gonna write them off as "dinacrap" then at least have some experience of running their strains. Having sniffed a few of your mate's diesels doesn't cut it to be fair.
I did their cheese which came as a freebie and it was as good aesthetically as most genetics you'll run to be fair; and I've run Bodhi, Mr Nice, Cali connection (whose diesel wasn't anything special either tbh) and loads of others down the years.
This is totally untrue and unfortunately it seems to be the opinion of most people.
All it takes is a bit of common sense to think about the whole process and how it works, and then to understand it a bit better. How do you think hydroponic fruit and veg is mass produced year after year to the specifications of the supermarkets?
If the breeder wants a load of disease resistant, high yielding crop, and sacrifices quality, then that's what'll be produced. whatever he/she has created and stabilised they can have mass produced by someone with a bigger facility. That they've got less control over what's being put out is totally untrue unless that's how they want it.
Like any company with directors who come in and oversee the production of a product, they have as much or as little creative control as they want.

I have 4 Dinafem Critical+ that were flipped to 12/12 last Sunday. These came as Seedbou freebies a while back. So far so good with extremely vigorous growth, but these are the first I've grown under a new 1000K so just about anything would look vigorous after my weak-ass 400 that ran like a 200. Bushy as fuck, branches growing out of branches, and even in veg they stink to high heaven. Got some CJ pollen that's itchin to procreate, hopefully down the road will have some Critical Casey to play around with.
Hey Moe, I did the EXACT same routine last year, 4 DF C+ freebies. Every single plant was good, one was a pure keeper and I am running it to this day over and over. You'll like this grow.

I did a single bean that I got as a freebie. It was classic Kush smoke, but it hermied on me, so it never went any further than that.

Jeez...what a bunch of know nothing complainers...slagging off some of the worlds best seed companies. HOW do I know this is BS. Because I have personally grown out Dinafem WW and it was the dankest most potent 7weed I have ever grown...and I've been growing on two continents for 5 decades. There are plenty of fly by night outfits selling bad genetics, but Dinafem isn't one of them. I prefer ******s but Dinafem isn't a bad choice in a pinch.
