quality of this years auto beans?

hey guys, i just want to ask what the general oppinion about this years autos is.

questions..


did they auto when promiced they would auto?

did the feminized beans herm?

was the feminized beans female?

did they have a good growrate and germrate?

how was the mold resistancy?

how was the potency? and what do you smoke on a regular basis before testing these?

.. +other info you might want to share, smokereports, link to growreports etc.

Yes. But only proven strains. check the So called AF thread sticky.

NO, not at all ,, this is LR#2. JDs way of feminizing seeds is very stable, i dont know about other breeders.

Yes.

did they have a good growrate and germrate??

Yes.

how was the mold resistancy??

Fine indoors,, outdoors ok. They dont like heavy rain then HEAT. Exepct Mossy's Purple JEMS, and it's hybrids they are proven/bred outdoors, very hardy.

how was the potency? and what do you smoke on a regular basis before testing these??

potency of the LR#2 is a solid 7 out of 10. As for what I smoke before i test these , well so I know what potency is, blueHaze, Deepchunk, Skunk#1, FLO, ect... I give bluehaze a 9-10, so you get the idea.

There are alot of links here in the Sticky area, and look around the AF threads. As for other info,, there are a lot more new AFs coming out this winter / next spring, these strains will be the next step in the demand for Elite Quality AFs.

this is just what i wanted to hear.

there was a bit of complaining about the quality of the auto beans from local growers in my local forum.

i suspected this was largely due to ignorance, and just poor handling of the strains.

i just wanted to get this confirmed

so you say lr2 is a 7 in potency... why do people say it gives no effect then? i just dont get it.

i have suspected that many smokereports on the lr have been done by newbs, but i take your word that you are not.

i have started a coupple of lr crosses myself to see what the potency is like, i plan on breeding them indoor this winter and growing them outdoor in true arctic conditions next summer.

Yep. I grew a total of 25 plants, 4 strains and all auto'd within 30 days

Haven't tried feminised yet

Haven't tried yet.

25/25 germinated. One developed stunted roots and died. One stopped after first set of leaves.

how was the mold resistancy?

No mold at all, either indoors or outdoors. I have had trouble with LR#2 and spider mites, they love this plant.

Potency 7-8 / 10. I've been going to Amsterdam on a regular basis 4-5 times a year, so used to the strong stuff. This year I've stayed home and grown AFs instead, and what fun they've proven to be.

ICC is definitely not a newb so he knows that hes talking about. lowryder #2 i also found to be an excellent plant growth wise and potency wise, his fem beans are also female. lowryder 2 is highly recommended, auto hindu kush is another knock out indica, with auto ak47 a great all rounder with 4+ ounce yields if you know what you are doing

I concur on the LR#2. Everyone who's smoked what I grew has loved it to bits. Mixed 75/25 with MD's Blue ryder, it totally hits all the spots.

you should have done a quick check on whos thread you are in saying these things.

first of all do me a favor and make a quick google search on "recessive AF gene". you might find that interresting.


secondly allow me to present myself, im a grower at 70 north! personally i have made the connection between AF strains and the 24hour continous daylight in the arctic. i think the AF trait is a natural trait, from a time when the earth was warmer (which we know it has been several times), and i think the AF trait originated in the far northern arctic regions. i even suspect american ruderalis strains were brought over there by vikings.

here is another wild speculation, what if the high CBD content in the ruderalis is what caused the vikings to get the reputation of having no fear? anti-anxiety effect of cbd!

i have yet to see any cannabis which doesnt have a sign of beiing cultivated. i suspect these ruderalis might have been bred this way for a reason!

now why would you want to wipe out a natural trait in cannabis? and also prevent us from bringing the plant "home"? anyone who has AF cannabis genes.. give it back to us, dont destroy it!


before we get into a long discussion about this, remember the thread is regarding the quality of this years commercial beans.. type "did you get what you paid for".

but if you have an oppinion .. shoot!


whatever you do dont go on a killing spree of AF genetix just because you dont have a personal interrest in them.

i have no personal experience but i have seen grows on planetganja pull over 100grams. no links, but if you speak to a few more experienced blokes on here they will confirm it. easyryder (auto ak x lowryder 2) can produce masses of bud.
