This made me lol, thinking of all the times with my friends that someone dumped out the glass screen either into the ash tray or somewhere else.

I reuse the same glass screens over and over again. I have a long forceps and use that to hold them in the gas flame on my cooktop for 20 seconds until they get red hot. Let them sit for a minute, cool off and all the caked on resin is white ash. You can just rinse in running water and it's 100% clean.

I also recycle my smoking ashes (just weed) back into the soil recycling program--so all ashes get personally screened by me. I never throw them away, but my sister always dumps them down the drain. She is the world's greatest NEMESIS of glass things!

I clean all of my glassware 1-2x a week with alcohol and salt too (quite anal). We have a variety of good buds floating through so I like to savor each and every flavor.

I have jacks, rosettes, flowers, mega rosettes (for the hookah) Everytime I see them I buy like 5-10. I'm hooked!
