actually i ahve had urkle nugs right next to them and no remeblence nor taste or smell factor for that fact. urkle has a fruity smell and taste with no kick what so ever. this purple kush hits very ahrd and tastes and smells like chocolate coffee beans dipped in hash. with a nice spicy undertone.es you wanna run it next to your pnw hit me up
I just asked as there seems to be a few Purple Kush cuts floating around.. the original one is sometimes refered to as the PNW version, altho I am not sure if that's technically correct or not.
The most commonly traded Purple Kush clone on the boards is said to be a hybrid, suspected to be some sort of thai cross.
This is jus the jist I get from researching Purple Kush and talking to other growers about the clone.. not trying to start any shit. I would just really love to see a side by side with both of these, and i would gladly grow either, i'm sure they're both excellent.
I'd hate to see this clone turn into another BubbaK/OGK/PureKush/Sour D, with more versions that u can shake a cola at. Trying to varify yours, or trying find the right versions of these clones can be like decifering the Divinci Code..

how come the buds arent purple and they call it purple, room conditions? nice job w/ the growing of it btw.

pk doesnt always turn purp. ive gotten batches of pk that were completely green minus a few slightly purple spots. the longer it goes the darker it gets most of the time.
beancounter ohhhh nooo dont say that. the pk deserves better than that for being cali's fav kush for over 30 years......... well until noobs found og kush.

I am still after that one as it is the best I've ever grown. Anyone have a good pic of their PK just berfore flower, as certain things stood out on what I had back then.

i will try and find more but he is a massive plant that yeilded great i think was close to 6 ounces might ahve been more not to sure.. and the smoke is soo dank like i said chocolate coffee hashy spice funk.. stays on your palete for a while.. makes you wanna smoke more and more. and the funny thing about this cut the longer it goes the darker it gets. crazy as some botton buds will be green then the tops are purple black coated in trichs and orange red hairs
By the way, it definately is in no relation to Urkle.

But no Kush. Imagine Urkle with some real Hindu Kush flavor and thats what this is like. Mine is getting purple already at 6 weeks.Buds and some leaves.
I think that Red Mutant might have this same Purple Kush in it.
But I'm not sure. It looks and smells alot like it. Even in veg.
I'll know more once mine flowers and I can watch it.
But Mystas taste like this Purple Kush x Some Haze Hybrid.
Like silver haze or NL #5 x Haze.
It also grew like it.

It looks similar to what I grew with the pronounced jagged leaf structure, however the leaf shape was sorta an in betweener looking like Mendo purps and deep chunk, broad-jagged and extremely dark.
I still think someone up there must have a line on them beans, as they were plentiful back in the late 80's.
Oh yea- the predominant pheno I kept had the flavor of cotton candy, and was unmistakable.

elk i know what your saying. not many kushes around that hold that true old school kush leaf. this is more on the line im use to seeing in a kush leaf. too many bubble fake ass leafs now days. thats not some pk btw.

yeah i do but my dam galery is full and fuck i dont ahve the time to go threw them and delete shit. i might just for the fuck of it though.either that or delete my accnt and start over. lol but yeah i ahve some really nice shots of some really big fat nugs. but this si the same cut just grow by my boy he grow in hydro im soil but yeah i get some nuggies up soon.
