Purple Kush Unit

Thought i would jump in here and see if anyone can help me figure out whats going on with my LVPK.

These are at 23 days of flower. They were put into flower at about 5-6 inches and are now from 12- 18 inches tall. I wanted to keep them as short as possible so i ran the room pretty cool (72-74) and it worked to keep them short.

This clawing showed up almost at the onset of 12/12. Not sure exactly whats goin on here?

Roots look good (big). Is that clawing normal? The plants are super dark green. I raised the lights a few days ago to about 22 inches..maybe i should go even higher?

Im not really sure how to go about zero nitrogen? I use Botanicare pureblend pro as the base, and all the additives. PBP has an NPK of 2-3-5. Should i drop the base? and just feed koolbloom?

This ain`t your first rodeo with lvpk Bro.......but....That looks ta be classic overfeeding with the clawing.....Total ppm`s need ta be determined and back off the micro and grow end of things if that`s possible.......anyways...

IME.....Too much Nitrogen in the mix IF stretch is completely over , but 23 days sounds short.....and....most folks associate clawing with excess N , when in fact it`s usually increased ppm`s/ec across the board that locks p and k out while N takes over and prevents macro`s and micro`s from bein absorbed and used for dialed conditions and keeps the plants deep green longer than needed during mid-late flower......anyways.....

Good luck and hope shit works out....

The clawing is a typical stress respons from the LVPK.

Strech on this strain should be over, DHF is correct on over feed. Move the light up a little more, back off the micro and grow, going with bloom only for this week. Get the PPMs down. After a week to work off the shock, bloom boost, lower the light, and increase the PPM slightly.

Thanks guys.. Yea.. I went to high with the feed at 900ppm the first couple weeks. (live and learn) The Green crack unit on the far right is vigorous and happy with 900, so it's all about learnin what the plant likes. I know now !! I did flush them for 24 hours and now have them at 450ppm. This botanicare recipe i use doesn't allow one to back off micro or grow.. (like gh 3-part) so i just need to keep my ppms lower across the board and let these girls get back on track.

yep, lots of stored energy in those green compack leaves and buds. She may take a week longer now, but by catching the problem and letting her recover her yeild will suffer minimal damage.

Sometimes road contiditions dictate a slow pace, better to arrive late than missing half the kids ;)

LOL. I thought for a while my thumb was green. But lately it's turned a pale yellow, and im about to stick it up my ass for all the mistakes iv'e been making.

But...if i can get past this rough patch in my new growing career (kids intact) i think a greener thumb will prevail.

Quit beatin yerself up Bro.......It`s human nature to try new shit on the path to Nirvana , but........

it takes discipline and runs under yer belt to decide when ta shit or git off the pot and dial whatchas got after all trials and errors have been logged and noted.....anyways......

You da man in my book regardless....
