Hi this is my first tread, and what made me make this tread was because of the bad name people r giving purple. i have a cannabis card and i got alot, well some of my weed from there. Here in cali, purple is all indica. so if someone say's "hey i got purple." that means they got the shit that makes your eyes ALL red, giving u that unique taste when smoking it and also making u cough like your sick.

Jolly Rancher is just a another name to make it sell, most likely this is Granddaddy

this weed taste real sweet, sweet like grapes. the buds r like pebbles. it makes the whole room smell like weed when u break the weed down. the high is strait laid back. its 100% head high. its the kind of shit that u wanna come home to after a long day. u feel like sitting back and smoking a grape swisher.

hey brother there is nothing wrong with PURPLE WEED my friend, it gets a bad rep because MOST is not very potent just pretty to look at thats all....

there are some good purps out there, but we all have our own opinions about whats good and whats not plain and simple....a lot has to do with the method it was grown and who grows it, but ya the strain is the starting point..

i've grown out Blueberry which is purple, some of the best weed I've ever smoked. Nothing wrong with purple as long as you grow it right and have good genetics.

I'm not making a comment on the color of the 'erb...... MANY things turn "purple" if they get cold enough... Shit, I had winter cauliflower a week ago that was SOLID PURPLE from the cold, it wasn't sold $10 a lb more because it was purple, it just WAS!

I'm merely pointing out the fact that it's a crock of shit starting a "thread" like this, under these PURPLE type circumstances!

Honestly beautiful buds and all but I agree with HF the whole 'purple' fad is played out. It was a silly fad to begin with. And no not all purples are indica. People around here are still caught up with this stupid crap, 'got sum a dat, perp, yo!'. Everyone going crazy over mediocre weed that's a different color. Hilarity ensues.

Not saying all pre-dom purple strains are bad, just that they're played into the ground.
