tang thanks brother. i am doing my best for this season as it is my first attempt at out door growing. i am happy with what i have but i know i am not getting the big cola's and girth that these strains are capable of from ace. i have been searching for a good soil mix that sativa's thrive on for next year.

Hey FBOY. Those don't look like , they are needing to much .lol Massive !!!.I know from my short experience indoors ,that these plants can take a good feeding and cope very well.I have found outdoors , a good mineral soil conditioner that is high in silica is a must . .Not too much nitrogen, plenty of calcium and good foliar sprays of magnesium . Can't wait to see how much you pull off those big bitchs!!!!

looking good my friend. I just love watching you finish these monsters in the sun. Yesterday I was shoveling snow for an hr up here. They look plenty healthy to me. If you are going another month they will put on some heavy weight in the end.
Best wishes for a strong finish.
Cheers GG

tang thanks brother. i am going to give your method of laying them down next time for sure. i will veg. them for a month or so then put them in 100 gallon pots and just keep tying the top over till they hit full flower. i might be over thinking the needs of these plants but i just want to get it wright. i will be doing the panama x malawi, angola x panama, congo x panama , purple malawi, fruity malawi just to name a few that is for sure going out next season. i am thinking of keeping a male around of bangi or Guatemala for some crosses but not sure yet.

GG how you been brother. shoveling snow is a bitch that is why i left ohio years ago and the fact i couldn't make any money there. we had a couple cold snaps here (upper 40's lol) but that is not going to last long. we have had an unusual year this year with the weather. we should have had a good spell of cold weather by now in the 30's but not even close so far. i think another month is in order for a few of them so we will see what happens then.

yo FL those bitches are massive! only thing i can tell u at those point on the mold is to spot spray ur plant with greencure. cut the mold out and then spray it. greencure kills the spores on contact. the only thing about greencure though is u gotta spray daily. hopefully its minor damage and the sun stays out. i hear u on the rain man i went through that last year and lost about 70% of my ladys to fkn mold. this year it was dry as fuck from june till end of sept. i will be well prepaired for the snails and caterpillars next year. i already got my IPM materials in from amazon. cant wait to see how these finish.
All the best

ky what up brother. i am in the process of harvesting the one with the mold issue. it's not to bad at this point but she looks to be close enough for me. it is only about 10% but i don't want to take the chance that next time i make it out that it will much worse. i have green cure but i will keep it for next season as a jump start. i will be going up your way at christmas i need to go see my mother. she is getting old and not sure how many years she has left so i go home every chance i get

They are developing very nice flboy!

I'm sorry to hear about the mold in the plant #1.
Did the mold come from very intense rains and high moisture ?
or from a worm bite that later got infected and spread ?

Purple Haze x Malawi standard version is a bit slower in flowering than current feminized version. Looks like most of your plants will finish around Xmas time, they are without any doubt very 'hazy'.

Best wishes for the upcoming 4 weeks! (i'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good weather and sunny days there).

dubi indeed it is from heavy rains and moisture from the last month. weather has been extreme and hardly any sunshine from overcast days which is unusual this time of year. i have not seen any caterpillars since i was spraying for the bangi i did and by the way is top shelf smoke. i will be doing more preventative measures next season for sure. i will be ordering the fem version of these and give them another run next season.

well plant one had to be taken. i will miss going out and her not be in place but it is what it is. she made it as far as i could let it happen. she looks good and the smoke test will tell it all. here she is after the chop. plant 2 and 3 are still trucking along. picks next time out

Congrats on the harvest of the first Purple Haze Malawi, flboy :)

She looks quite matured and can be harvested without much worries.
Her flowering distribution is very 'hazy', but the colas are much bigger than pure Haze. The big ovaries and big trichomes come from the Malawi influence.

Best wishes for the other 2!
