ok jonny ummm dude yes indeed i see why for sure now why MOLD would/is a huge fucking concern......check out these colas at only 28days flower....








this is the lower part of the jhammer, all of that shit will be removed this weekend as will all the lower stuff from all my plants....there not getting any light so they just need to be gone, i could get some much needed room if i just cut back the fat soda-speak.......hummm well crap i guess i forgot to upload that one, i'll put it at the bottom....

Would a higher amount of air passing through the room keep the flowers from getting mould,i was just thinking more air passing through wouuld help keep things dry but not moist?

Yea air flow will always help, but I flow as much air in my cab as anybody and I still got mold this last grow. None on the surface of the buds, but underneath the bud along the stem on the RP and 1 of the cherry bombs. My humidty always runs in the 60-70 range but thats cause of where I live and cant change it, jaws I know your weather is close to what mine is, so if you can control yours down into the 50% range I think that would help. My grow being hydro could of contributed, theres alot more water in hydro plants and they also perspire quite a bit.
Just do the best to control the enviorment and keep a close eye, carfully pull some bud away from the stem on the real phat kolas to take a look and keep your fingers crossed.....,

no,no,no they are not really prone to it...... its just that i had it in a dead spot air wise and didnt realize it till it was too late! dont worry, man that is the only time i have had rot in the three years ive been growing, and you saw pics of some of my colas! its not like they will fall over dead, in actuality, its stayed to only one localized area. i could have probably removed it and finished her out, but got paranoid with all the aothers i have going!

hey jaws, remember the skunk #1/ice i told you about? i got the magnifier out today to look at it and foud out the pink haze is actually the trichs colored, not the bud! i find that mind boggling! would that mean if you ran it trough bubble bags and collected only the trichs, it would make pink hash?!?!?



by the way, discount hydro sells wall mount oscillating fans to free up your floor space for you. im planning on getting a couple if my funds drought straightens itslf out, otherwise i might have to shut down after i finish out all my current runs and only keep a couple veging to keep certain strains alive. life can be so uncertain at times!


i think the fans are $59 a piece.a little pricey, but worth it in floor space!

pothead ummm ya man i will keep the air flow 24/7 and do the best i can to prevent the mold...if i had a dehumid i could keep the humidity right where i wanted it but i dont have one...i just heard recently that a lower humidity will push the resin content up?........

jonny, thats good to hear BUT where i'm at it could be a big problem..ummm good thing its winter time and the temps are not getting very high any more...low 70's is about as hot as its getting, and the nights are getting colder big time....
