Dam that sucks. I feel for you. Mites got into my GH but was lucky to get them in time, they are still a issue just not bad. Aloha DB

Aw geez, sorry bear. Maybe now is the time to use something harsh on your floor surface? Maybe wrap some packing tape around the troughs sticky side out, so the borg cant crawl past it.

I'll put up some pics of the interior and the two remaining girls now. As far as future grows, the number one thing I will change in the greenhouse is the planting date. There is no need to grow these sativas that large, if I were to plant them at the end of May or early june, they would be much more manageable and I think I could deal with any mites if I spot them. Smaller plants would make it easier to spot the infestation early and take care of it. I also want to have a healthier environment around the greenhouse on the outside, and with the smaller plants I will have room to grow a larger variety of plants inside without shading them out. This will allow me to plant some beneficial plants around and develop a better environment.

I am kind of worried that the mites got my seed run too, and left me with a bunch of dud Haze seed and no Haze buds. Does anyone have any idea how mites affect seed production?

sorry about the mites man your green house was looking great before.
Hopefully you get some harvest out of what's left.
I have and do smoke on mite infested weed. my favorite sativa got them and the last harvest of it had some.
I tossed the tops that were covered but salvaged the rest and I started smoking it when I ran out of better herb.
I'm flowering out seeds from it now and hope to have something like her again soon.
It's still my favorite morning smoke even if there's a few bug and a touch of PM.

I hope you are able to salvage some nice oil from them buggy stuff, coffee filters FTW!

Perhaps a few stripes of petroleum jelly around each container to prevent them from crawling up next year also
Cheap and it might work to some degree. Aren't they just crawling up onto them?

Awesome thread and set up Bear.

Thanks a lot for all your detailed info and pics, and best of the luck with your mite fight.

Here in Europe we ask for predators to BioBest.be. They have great products, pest controls and good after sale service, but i dont know if the shipping to the States...

Big ups and thanks again for this inspirational thread!

Biobest just bought out our local supplier :D Too bad the Nutrimite is 250 bucks a pound, friggin' ridiculous. Although, looking at nursery pollen suppliers, price isn't totally out of wack.... I can find cheaper though hahaha
