this is one of the lamest threads ever. i tend to believe people who give to the community and are willing to share knowledge and genetics with their fellow growers over those who keep their strains on lock-down and just come on ic to trash people and act like they are some sort of celebrity.

Still don't understand the hording of any strain by any grower?? Is kush just a rage? I mean, do you think its just a popular demand from smokers who are just fascinated by the word kush? now back to my question cause i truly don't care for all this dramma, who has the real cut maybe nobody knows, i just know i don't have it and that sux.,,,,,,,,, i have the ogbx1 and it truly tastes like pinesol and was a nice high, what og cut did you use for this cross, and finally i also have the OG/NL X PURE KUSH, did you use the pictured cut with this cross? and any info on what pheno to look for would be a plus. thanx for the help

Hella~ If yer talkin' about this, ^^^, pic o' OG Kush...then there's two OG's in tha pic...the nug in tha upper left of tha pic is the Ghost/OrgnKid OG'ers cut...and...the bud in tha lower right o' tha pic is tha SoCal PK/OGK from senor Elkslayer. They were grown side by side in a 5x8 bed/scrog.

i have not read all 6 pages of the post, but want to add for anything it's worth - I first got PK at the end of 1994/95. I remember the guy who I got the crazy OG from telling me about the 'PK' that was Pure Kush and it is off the hook. He was right. This guy had the best kush and was close to the grower, but would not give up info, just that the clone was very well guarded.

I've got something VERY close to Pure Kush....it may even be the real deal pure, i'm not sure....but likely a cross.....
I wish I could find out the genetics behind my LA Kush...but my friends have not found out yet, I don't think.
It definitely has that Pure Kush flavor in it for sure, and it's hella SUPER stoney.
I just tried my Organic dirt grown OG from Karma, for the first time, most likely Ghost Katsu cut, I guess.....very lemon fuel smell and sour tasty flavor....but it doesn't hold a candle to my LA Kush...which is much stonier and better tasting.....
Pure Kush is where it's at.....nothing compares to the flavor, and nothing compares to the stony high either. Makes you wonder why you would smoke anything else.

I know it's extremely well guarded, and I had to beg my friend for over a year before he gave it to me under conditions. If anyone has any knowledge of LA Kush please lket me know. (Yes, that's the official name...LA Kush)

I feel what you saying Rudeboy. I live in the midwese and I pay $200 for 6 grams of Purple kush. I've been smoking all types of kush for 3-4 years. The cheapest I've seen a ounce go for was $650(not pure, mixed with sumthing). The average is $800 to$1000 around here. I know its coming from So Cali from tha connect(Maybe its S&H LOL).We will pay this if its worth it (dosnt even have to necessarily be kush). I do believe what jason king says in his book. I do believe its 1 of the lowest yielding strains (look at tha pics).

Lookin good Jaws, again, glad to see you got those kushes to root. Me and a fried have been tryin to get our hands on swerve's Purple K from the clubs out here in the bay but they get snatched up in the blink of an eye. Literally. A friend went to the clubs and saw a tray of jacked up lookin Purple K's and went to the bathroom real fast... when he came back somebody had grabbed the whole tray and was waiting in line to buy em all

Had to laugh at the situation because i used to be the same way before i had a mother room. My friend used to call me "hey man they have a tray full of Catpiss and a tray full of Romulan!". I'd say "man grab ALL the rom and ALL the catpiss!". Too bad they were really ALL Trainwreck

thing is it shows what people are willing to do just to get money or even a strain that is not what they say it is. i could see why some folks made S1's but at the same time it ruins it for the folks who want the clone. so beware with the trades and make sure to see if it comes from the source people say it orginated from. enjoy the grows... stay safe all, sun
