Thanks dudes. Full on update this weekend if upload works...

Frank this grow IS 100% organic.

Not bad for owning a pH and PPM stick... imho. :D I wouldn't work without one.

You know I wuv ya, but I don't buy that argument about organics. I would say pH is a lot more important than PPMs though. I measure pH religiously, but only use PPMs as a guide for making teas, what to feed next, etc, as organic mixes are hard to measure anyway.

My RO comes out below 4 sometimes. You think I'm dumping that on my plants?

Truncheons are pricey, but as krome stated it's a great investment.

Not trying to be a jerk, but I guess we're after different things. I'm striving for personal perfection of my pot. I'm only 400w for jah's sake, head stash.

My first run of D using moonshine mix and not measuring anything looking like ****ing ASS. I mean, look at my first harvest pics of her.

Quite a big difference from what's currently going on. Prim and proper, measured and tight.

if i may defend myself.....
she was part of my new tea regimen.
first run w/ the teas, so it took a little while to figure out.
anytime i switch nutes, there tends to be a grace period, no?
as soon as i can upload pics, ill show you what a better worked tea regimin looks like.
you sure know how to hit below the belt!!!!

Well man, if you're gonna tell people you don't need to worry about pH and PPM, then put up the proof.

Sorry that's just how I feel about it.

I need to go smoke.

LOL, you're a good man. Well don't I feel poopy now. I was being pretty harsh. I think you get my point, rather than editing I'll just apologize here. :)

I've smoked you're buds and they were A+

You know, I used moonshine mix my first run of D and didn't measure levels. It was one of my worst runs to date, so I'm a tad opinionated on it you can say. Ready to jump. Those pics were so bad Ive deleted most from my gallery heh.

I notice a lot better results when I measure/adjust my pH. PPMs are measured for reference. Maybe that's just habit now too, after running coco for moms and veg for so long but flowering in peat. If pH is off in coco things can go sour quick, still trying to recover my Urk and Ape moms...

All this talk of assless chaps gets me jumpy, my bad!

no need for apologies,
a wise man once said "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one"

Some People's PH fluctuates constantly, some places PH stays consistent.

I used to be a fanatic about measuring PH. Now I'm at a place where my ph is consistent and I don't have to worry about it at all. I haven't measured my PH in over a year and haven't had any problem with it.

Just finished a Coco run that went perfect the whole way through. Has me thinking about changing to coco from organix.

All the assless chaps talk has me wondering what exactly I've missed this week.

Keepin my fingers crossed hoping you can upload pics. Ready to see that Green thumb in action again.

Not measuring ph is a bad idea.
I don't care how you grow.

Word up. If you have 9.0 tap water like me, no amount of lime will balance it out. It's a common misconception.

I always checked ph every mix I made, never ppm... ppm and organics arent exactly accurate... I like ph to be exact to ensure which nutrients have the best ability to be taken up at a given point in the plant growth cycle. Mg and Ca like a bit higher ph than n p and k, so there is dialing to be done if you want....

Are you serious 40?? Cant be!!!

Yeah I agree with Jdog. PH is essential. I have had gals take a serious turn for the worst not testing PH. It will have you wondering" what the hell is this defiency?" It will make some plants look like total crap. Like Stretch said 4.0 who in the hell will dump that on their gals?? I will trash a whole batch of nute water if the PH is tooo low, as mines start high from the tap and then lower I it after sitting atleast 24 hrs, dont own no PH up, or a RO.....
