Much respect Buddy... you always put out nice smoke man. That Lifesaver cut originally came out of our camp and I've honestly never seen it run so well. It's still doesnt make the top of my list unfortunately but it serves it's purpose for some...

Cool... upload works again.

Tonight is Day 64 and the group is on their 2nd plain watering. Moonshine mix was the base for the grow and I added more fruit and flower, castings, lime and chunky perlite to his original mix. Every other or other couple I fed with PB original bloom, maybe a tad too much..

I also used LK, floralicious plus, super nova and dark energy, cannazyme, and silica blast (a couple times) throughout the run minus last 2 weeks. I'm hoping to take down my two Arcata's and stagger the rest of the harvest all week and weekend.

Grabbed these quick on Friday which was Day 61 of flower for the girls.

Mendo Purps:

Not very purp. I had to remove my window AC early this run and temps hit 90 on some nights. It was too cool outside to justify running the house AC which is what I'm using now. All vents closed in the apt. but that room... heh. Blows. Fall is here though!

Not keeping this girl around. More yield than any of the other purps I've run (urk, ape, gdp) but she smells like a skunk with sweet undertones. Maybe grapeish if you imagine it hard enough. She put out nice I was surprised, there is a fairly large cola cut off in the pic too.

Awesome through and through. Ran without a hitch and took whatever I threw at her. Smells like A classic kush, spicy with some sweetness/freshness in her. At least when I hear the term kush I don't think lemon I think spice... I'll examine closer soon enough,

Have you smoked the Mendo Purps before? I was wondering if you don't like how she smokes or have you decided to toss her because how she grows/clones/ect??

Sqwirl... I'm tossing her because I have a ton of other gentics to work with and nothing about her jumps out at me as a keeper, basically. I initially obtained her with Ape, Urk, and GDP, and so far am holding onto only Ape and Urk...

Has an enticing pungent foul odor to her, gosh I love this girl. Sticky and gooey... I can't wait to try some!

Thought I would throw up some shots of Genius in veg.

She's a fragile and thin little girl. Took awhile to get her to this point in growth but she's been really struggling for the prime light, with the big ass chems and ODs towering over her in veg.

Delicate though.. I like the looks and feel of her so far... maybe in 2 runs she'll make her first appearance...

I've heard some good things about Mendo, smoked her once and had the cut for a couple weeks but it never took for me... Ape I didnt hear too many great reviews on... but never smoked her myself for what that's worth. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I hope Mtn will get that PI over to you for a few test runs.

As far as the TW goes, I have heard from others that they thought the arcata and norcal may be the same cut... I think the difference could be related to the finish time... i took the norcal to 70 or a few more everytime I did her, but the arcata people seem to take sooner... I wonder if it is just the same cut, just taken at different stages of maturity.

I think you'll like the Airborne G... it definitely has a different smell and taste than most strains, which I always thought was a good reason to keep a cut around. The one HE did over in the Clone thread is proper... I think the 60 days timeframe is right on, I took one to over 70 last time and while it gets you leveled, it doesnt look as good bag wize as the 60 day representation.

Those are some great samples Buddy, you sure have a nice green thumb bro.

Stretch was it BB's Ortega you let me test a few months ago? I really liked that one.

u know what pup i was thinking about that genius... i never really gave her proper root space, and i think that may be a key to get her to take off.... I wonder if a transplant may light her up... cause mine had the small leaves too which I think I am learning comes from lack of room for the feet... kinda goes bonsai almost... Plus the cut is pretty old, may just be tired.

My woman used to work in childcare bro, she's interested anytime. Break out that acoustic bass and I can bring the geetar over... or fire up that grill sometime soon.

I already tossed the backup mom for her. I just have too many new genetics and not enough room across the board. She's around.... but I'm pretty loyal to Urk. I don't have to be put on my ass in 2 hits to enjoy a strain. I like to smoke and smoke a lot, so a medium stone is perfect.... and with the flavor Urk puts out it's no competition for me. Ape I've run once now and liked her a lot. More than GDP so I kept her around for more runs. Grape Candy instead of Grape Skunk, like urk. Medium stone again.

I've been chatting with our friend in the woods and we'll be hooking up shortly here...

I honestly did think it was Arcata, just different environment. The meaty foulness it puts out is unmistakable. Though I have ONLY run arcata, so that may be a trait represented in the entire line... dunno... I took my last run about that late too. Only thing I've ever taken under 56 (8wks) was Cush, and I won't again. 60+ for everything here on out...

Yeah.... I notice some of the same you mention however I veg in coco and plants literally blow up man, it's hardcore. Keeps me in there trimming ALL THE TIME. Peat was never like this.

I think it's a combination of the both and when I take the 8 or 9 huge ass moms out this weekend to flower, Genius, AG13, A11, and a couple others will finally have breathing room and I'm sure I'll see a jump in growth. She was crammed in a back corner in my room for awhile too.

I'm limited in pot size as I have a system down. The pot she's in now she stays in until I can transplant to flower.

How are you guys dealing with the weather? We've been having intermittent rains and I worry about mold etc. So far we have almost NO problems with it, but we're beginning to see caterpillar damage and found one "mummy" bud (which we promptly disposed of using alcohol and peroxide on surrounding leafage). Forecast is intermittent rains all week. What would you do? The biggest plants appear to be 10-14 dayes from harvest.

I find mildew easy to deal with: hose-end sprayer with 1/2 milk or yogurt, 1/2 water; lactic acid kills mildew spores. Cheap and easy, and the yogurt brushes off easily once it dries. But mold kills (I smoke for asthma relief, so lung issues important to me).

I wait to see your answers!

Yeah bro, I used to run a similar potting system.. cept I did Pro Mix. I was interested in coco, but i heard it dried out quicker... and i'd leave for days at a time for work so i didnt think it was a fit for me... seems like a great medium tho..... my veg shit was always in small assed pots... the way of the cab grower I spose I started using the half gallon grow bags for veg cause you can stuff more medium in em.. and they dont take up as much space as the hard pots cause they are soft and can be stuffed together side by side much easier... place around my way has em if you want i can grab some for ya...
