TP87 you don't need a lot of room to scrog, thats the whole idea behind it. My space is 2x3x4 so my scrog is 2ftx2ft. I made a square out of 1/2 in. PVC and drilled holes every 2 inches around. I use string through the holes to make a screen with 2 in. squares. Checkout the scrog it give you a much better yield. I grew my plants upright for the first 18 months then when scrog. I'll never go back to upright when growing in a confined space. You'll be surprised how much more you can harvest. for sure.

Just using a few cfls for now. She was slow and lagging behind so I couldn't bring myself to flower her yet. And I meant like if I had a separate area to run a scrog, I have a few emerald triangle Sour Lemon og's that stretch like a bitch, id love to run one of those in a scrog. I might do that if I get my 600w soon

Ive got a few Chernobyl seeds and that sure is a pretty plant. I might have to crack 'em.

I really like the Chernobyl. I've got ace of spades also, can't wait to grow them.

So one of you go start a T5 thread! haha ... I dont have any T5 porn and I think its a bit against forum ettiquette for me ... someone who doesnt use T5's to flower... to start one.

I think I might break down my big tent and HPS and go to T5's. I dont need much smoke. A QP per harvest is plenty and the large tents and lights are just so damn obnoxious. Ive seen good results... just not completely sold on it yet but Im getting there pretty damn quickly.

Ive got two 4' x 4 bulb T5's and one 4' x 6 bulb T5 unit. I also have two 400 HPS (one digi, one mag) and a 600 digi though so its a tough sell. Threads like this though sure make me wanna switch to something smaller, more manageable, cooler, and less intrusive.

TPunk .... did your DR120W have 5" exhuast holes? Mine did and it sure is inconvient all my fans are 6". I read on greners description though and they say there is one of the holes that is 6".

What size were yours?

They all look like 5"........ I only run a 4" and use the vents ( the back ones a bitch when its against the wall) I never noticed till you asked, so looks like I can hold off on upgrading the fans till I can upgrade tents. I want the twin 4x4 for when I get my 600w

I'm assuming you have it in a closet then? Since your using the vent flaps? Obviously light leaks would be a prob otherwise?

Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do. I have a Dr120 4x4 and the Dr120w 4x2 but that 4x4 is retarded huge and looks ridiculous in a spare bedroom.

props again though on the T5s I'm really thinking I might just go with them to scale down. How was the quality?

The tent sits in a spare bedroom, the closet is my clone/ staging area. A black blanket over the window solved what small amount of light that was getting thru the vents. Quality is excellent using t5's. Everything gets so frosty under t5.

Hmmm wont let me leave messages yet but yea, I just run spectralux 6500k and 3000k. Them boys running the pars and the led t5's is on there own LOL. Too much money to invest on t5, might as well by a hps. You can look me up over there bro, I'm there a lot more than here, but I prefer this site as it's a much better atmosphere, and some very good growers over here

T5s rock I love mine. I get a QP from two plants under a scrog using my 8 lamp 2 ft fixture. I do change bulbs for flower. Most folks say its the best they ever smoked. T5s will do the trick for less money and heat. I grow in a box the space is 2x3x4. Proofs in the pics, heres my last run G13.
If you SCROG you can double your output, I was surprised how much more you can harvest.

Hey Pearlemae how is G13 I heard it is very potent. I am deciding on my next strain and I am really considering G13. can you give me your perspective on it please?
