Hey guys, been a while since i've been back on here and updated on things. Around the time I first made this thread I had placed 79 seedlings at 2 weeks old in a patch which was a bitch to dig. It is about 20 foot long and about 2 feet deep and 4 foot wide. I threw 3 bags of cheap potting soil called hyponex from walmart and 2 bags of BACTO soil on top of the ground and mixed in. Have been visiting weekly since sprinkling water soluble nutes around the plants and they have went from 6 inches tall to almost 3 feet tall as of now and are now shooting pistils.

To my surprise I have only culled 9 males so far. I can't believe how far they have come, i'm going to have to stake a few of them up soon as well.

Shakira, it was definitely a bitch to dig, but easier doing the patch then holes for some reason. At the moment I have 9 more patches similar to this one dug out and will be planting 2 week old plants in them around August 1st.

As far as digging goes, I have figured a way to stop that and it works very well and efficiently. I have obtained a high powered battery hammer drill and bought a garden auger attachment at Lowes and have 3 batteries that I haul with me as well. I get about 30 to 40 holes done per battery. I was skeptical about this at first because I figured either the auger would not hold up or the drill just wouldn't have the power to go through the roots and rocks. But it is working great! Although some places are not so easy and when I hit a spot like that I just move over a foot or so and usually it digs right in.

Now in soybean fields this works very well. I can get more holes than 30-40 done.

I know I am fixing to order a shit ton of green cure and some large bags of water soluble fertilizer. Probably go with jacks classic bloom ferts again, it worked very well. There is also large bags you can order of gro more Hawaiian bud which is some good stuff as well at a great price.

Can't post pics of these patches due to security issues but I will tell you. Pop those beans tonight and get em in the ground asap! It works!

Now there's some wisdom. Growing 640 plants to get 10 lbs is insane if you ask me. Especially if the cops charge depending on number of plants.
Peace GG

you dont put them all in the same spot dummy. And 10 lbs is with no maintanence and if its a good year you might get 100lb just saying
