PS3 better than XBox 360?

I was curious on how these two compared head to head, so i decided to do a search and hear from the experts. I own a 360 and dont think the ps3 is all that power really. Ill be showing you two links. The first link will be the specs and stuff. Whereas the second link (in my next post) will show you how the games on both systems compare.

I do like PS3, but i really think 360 is better in terms of graphics gameplay etc.

360 is more fun, has better games, and is cheaper.. i always hit my buddies house up who has one..Gears of War is INSANE!
hook that bastard up to a nice HDTV and wow, it blows you away..

ps3 hasnt done a thing since it dropped, granted im a hardcore ps2 addict, im not buying a ps3 for quite some time...

i have no reason to own one. my computer does alot more than thay can. i use to have a ps2 and a gamecube. havent played with them in a long time.

I read somethin ages ago that PS3 was 3X more powerful than the 360...what a load of bollucks!! PS3 is still okay, but the point im trying to make is that its not as good as 360.

Halo 3 and a fat ass joint of sage sounds good to me. And in summer ill be token on feminized cinnamon bud, really cant wait cos thats about when Halo 3 will be released.

Hey Wolfspider, pc also top of the list in my book, but you should really giv the 360 a shot and see if ya like it.

Not only download old school games, but in a few months youll be able to download movies from xbox-live etc...IN HD TOO!!!

Well it is good if you hav a HD monitor but most people cant afford them, but i still really like pc games.

You can upload pics onto the 360, music-and listen to while playin games, download demos,talk to people with head-set, send messages and stuff, create clans and all that stuff....really fun, FUN is the key word here.

THere even thinkin of lettin you use you pictures thoughout some games in the future.
So picture adding a beautiful bud shot to one of your games..lol, sounds FUN to me.

Halo 3 & Forza Motorsports sound like killa games!!

yea i got a 360 right before christmas, I tried getting a PS3(i stood in line with my GF #'s 13 & 14 in line with delusions of getting two and selling them on ebay for crazy ammounts of cash). Well when we got inside the toys R us they only had 6 pre orders(two 60 gis wich were the ones i wanted and four 20 gigs), there was a near riot andi left jaded and hating sony hard core(already pissed off with other products of theirs). I immediately got a 360 the next day and loved it ever since, upon having it this long and going over to friends houses to play PS3 im ultimately happy i paid less and was playing hi def games wway sooner. Over all the graphics comparison is minimal and the processing power is almost equal, its really more about the game developers and what they can do with their stuff and maxim ize the conosole itself. So yea im happy with my 360 and gears of war is insane....the Wii looks awesome i wanna get one

i hardly play my 360 because i do not have the turbo coolers for the front and back wich are crucial for the long life of your ocnsole. I got a 2 yr warranty but i suspect it will die before that, i have already exchangeed this 360 for another one because the dvd playback was skipping and had green horizontal lines. Well sorry to report the replacement console i got from the warranty coverage does the same thing but WORSE!!!! im pisssed(not that i watch dvds on it but stilll! its supposed to play DVDS), the games play flawlessly(give or take a crash or two, no red lights yet).

I had a cooler for the back. It really fucked with the xbox360. It worked fine for awhile, but then took a crap on me. I had to turn on the console a couple different times to get it to work. I took of the "intercooler" (not 100% sure on name) and it works great again.

I also had a stand with a fan in it. You had to plug it into the USB port and then plug the wireless internet adapter into that. It slowed down my internet connection drastically so that is also no longer in use.

Hope this saves some people some $$$$$$.

I will buy a nextgen system when they start coming out with a stream of games that are not just the same games we've always had with better graphics.

One good game like that was the Katamari games for the PS2.

I've pretty much had my fill of DOOM clones, TEST DRIVE clones and KARATE CHAMP clones.

I got a 360 last year for a wedding present. (I have very kind co workers) I love it, gears of war is the shit ... lost planet is a good title too ... I've never really liked any of the playstations, can't stand the controllers, but the 360 looks awesome on the hdtv and the sound blows you away on a good stone. Only complaint is that they should have included the HD drive with the system, it wasn't long after it hit the market that the hd drive appeared.

Can't wait for HALO 3!!!!!!!!

Go rent/buy the new game Crackdown [ billed as the next GTA series. ]

First thing the game does is make you go online to download a patch.. if you dont.. you dont get to play it at all.

Um, why are you spouting misinformation?

This PATCH as you call it is a firmware upgrade designed to prevent loopholes in the current firmware on the 360 that allows modification. Just like the firmware updates that sony rolls out for the psp and the ps3. I suppose i could call em patches and make a false link to pc gaming and say that sony is a failure. Ive played both PS3 snf the Xbox360, and so far the PS3 has nothing worth making me shell out $800 for a system an extra controller and a game. Not to mention the HDMI cable im gonna need to run the games at 1080p resolution on the plasma screen im gonna have to buy.

Heavenly Sword looks sweet. but that about it. On the other hand the Xbox360 has a shitload of games that make the system worth owning, plus its half the price of the ps3. You need a Plasma/LCD to enjoy the xbox games at 1080 also, but at least you will be able to afford one after you buy your 360 easier than you will after buying a ps3.
