What if any safeguards can a guy put in place to possibly protect his owned real estate/possessions in the event of the incredibly unfortunate bust?

They will most definatly investigate the owner of the property after a bust, if that person is not part of the grow

I heard once that if the property owner can say they honestly didn't know what was going on, they can't have it seized. No idea if it is true. helpful aren't I?

have someone else , or a corporation that cant be tracked back to you, own the real estate and set it up as a rental to yourself or to some other made up person for even better security

An approach is to use secondary equity to make sure you owe an amount relatively close to the value. My understanding is LEO won't bother seizing property that doesn't have much value in it (though thankfully I have no direct experience along those lines). That doesn't work out great if you own it as an investment, but then again a seized house didn't turn out to be a great investment vehicle.

the only thing you really can do is put shit in some other persons name. but the LEO as much as we all cant stand them are not dumb.. That to me is even more obvious.. cos more times than not there are peeps that do that. They usually have shitty credit cos they dont have a job. And so this person who dont work but can afford a nice house harley's 20 grand in glass. big screens you get the picture.. cashin for puffage is not a job and you can incorporate... lol.. peace..

Avoid cash. Never carry it and don't keep any in your home. If are caught at an airport, or in your car, or anywhere in public, cash will be taken. Regardless if there are any drugs involved or you are even charged with a crime, they can and will take your money. It is then up to you, at your expense, to prove that money is not the proceeds from a crime.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of a tiered quantity of plants that escalate the sentence? I had read somewhere hear that under 99 plants was separation from a fed. offense???? I do not plan to even be near that but on a smaller scale, would there be a lighter/ firmer sentence between say 10, 20 , 30 , 40 plants?? I guess I just want to know if there is a scale of punishment that is measured by number of plants?

Obviously you can't avoid it completely. But if someone buys 50k worth of product from you, don't go cruising around smoking with that cash in your car. And don't go home and stick it in your sock drawer. Put it in a safe deposit box, just so it's not on you or in your home. (Don't deposit more than 10k at a time in your bank account.) It's all about playing the odds. The less time you spend with cash, the less likely you are to get busted with it. Keeping piles of cash, along with illegal drugs, lying around your home or on your person is asking for trouble. At least more trouble than if you got caught with just the drugs.

There is a real easy solution to this..
Just incorporate the business to hold the assets. This will create a separation between your business and personal life. It also works the other way around.

So, goto legalzoom.com and file for a LLC or Corporation (Sub-chapter S). Basically, you would be an employee of the business, with shares of stock, rather than the property or assets being in your name. I'm pretty certain than authorities cannot seize stock certificates.

This is why they shouldn't EVER lock a 1st time grower up. THey shouldnt lock a 2nd,3rd,4th+ either but you know what im sayin. People don't even know the laws when it come to growing, and it's not their fault in my opinion.
