that FF piece of mind looks good...
so many choices.
That stuff is good bro.

Just remember there are so many ways to do it...................its all opinion and what works best for you. I used to ammend my soil with guanos, oxycal, and lime even some greensand and stuff. I just didn't notice a dif from the buds I just used promix/perlite............fert done.

When I started just going simple and feeding once a week with one alternate watering a week of just water and hygrozyme(to help breakdown salts and ferts from previous nutes) I really felt they were eating what I gave them as I gave them. I ran a test the other day for runoff.............it was 6.5 PH with 1.8 EC. Just a tad high I thought but you can be a little off with soil..........why I love it. Feed the soil and the roots will take what they need from it. Soil is ur buffer..........thats why many options will work great.

Let us know what you think of running with..........either way you'll do great........keep the mix fluffy brosef

I prefer ocean forst having used both that and promix.I also use piece of mind fruiting formula,a tablespoon per gallon of soil. One thing that makes ocean forest or any soil a rootbooster and a half and that mycorrhizae.I noticed a difference in root growth the first time I used it.Its one thing OF doesnt contain and its a big bonus to add it.I use OGM Rooters Mycorrhizae at 1 teaspoon per gallon soil.Use right from the start in 4 inch pots with new clones or seedlings and all the way through

thanks for all the help thus far. Much appreciated.

Delta (or anyone else who wants to answer)-
you run promix/perlite and thats it? Fert once a week and water/hygrozyme once a week? Do you have any problems with pH since it seems like you aren't adding lime?

I had a problem starting around midflower using unlimed promix,I would definately add a teaspoon per gallon soil in the flowering container. Some use a tablespoon per gallon with promix but I found a teaspoon to be sufficient for PH purposes.Too much calcium locks out magnesium and more importantly phosphorous during flowering

No probs dude with PH.......I do ph buffer my nutes tho. I now use AN's ph buffer cuz it is SOOOOOOOOOO strong it adds almost nothing in terms of EC or PPM even when mixing in an acidic nute like Kabloom. A drop two buffers a 5gal at like 5 to 6.5 perfect every time. GH ph up i had to dump in tons and it added like 200ppms atleast sometimes with kabloom in my nute mix.

And yeah I nute about once a week strong maybe once every 8-9 days in veg and more in bloom cuz I add kabloom sometimes on the off watering so when I fert I can give alot of my base nute.....addatives are nothing more.......its the base food that really counts. Not saying addatives dont have their place with experienced growers but the more I see very skilled(experienced) growers the more I realize they KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid lol. Never let your total ppms of base nutes be less than half ur mixture. I tend to do this

Promix/25% perlite maybe 35% just till I like that fluffy feeling and it holds nice with water added. EWC are great so is some lime if you want(its in the promix tho so whatevers clever)

rooted clones..............about 300-500 ppm grow, hygrozyme, b'cuzz root

small vegging plants.......500-800 ppm grow, hygrozyme, bcuzz root, cal-mag maybe once every 3-4 water/feedings.....just a little. Just keep an eye out for those tell tale signs of cal mag def.....that one is as easy as N def IMHO.

veggin ladies either moms or ready to flower(prob in a 2-3 gal grow bag) 800-1000 ppm base nute, bcuzz root, hygozyme.......still some cal mag once in awhile........dont fret they'll tell ya if they need some.

If a plant has been veggin for 6 months like a mom or something it def is put into a 5gal with fresh soil for flowering 2 weeks b4 12/12 or maybe a flush if its been under floros and isnt' huge.........after the flush its right back to 1000ppms until bloom time.

Bloom is a little more finicky depending on strain, finish time, etc.....but its more of the same with of course bloom booster of choice(for me ateast and bcuzz bloom). Im tinkering with this now but I've always done good gradually rising to 1600 ppm max! mostly 1200-1400 at week 6-8 b4 a mandatory 2 week(min) flush with some sugars!!!!!
