:D :D

been harvestiing like crazy latelly :D hope the rest finishes off quickly :D my momas have grown out of space and i need to flower them right away.. just clone em before ;)

the last bunch to flower have been a bit too tight in the flowering and the lower parts of the big kolas arent as chunky as could be - but im happy - the sooner i gotten rid of this experiment seed round - i will do a few rounds of only the keepers... im most likelly not going to plant any more seeds untill the coming autumn... all in all thisn winters seeds planted have most been a disapointed. only potencial keepers are the ssh x lp, diva G x lp and blockberry allready put to reveg.. the last ssh x ptk could also be reveg material.. so this rounds winners have been cloneman as usually, and with a nice second place for Xyz's blockberry.

nice smoke but no keeper has been the cheese/trainwreck x ptk.

also one of the jamaicans was very nice flavour and potent too and im going to plant more of it looking for a fatter pheno..

rigth now we got a few unknown plants in flower, some ssh/ptk x ptk, and the keepers; amnezia haze, ssh xptk, ssd, jaggen.

tonight i gotto mist the veg-plants against mites, and in a few days i will transplant the bushes and put them to flower..

buzy days - but still less work now with one flower room w 1200W. later this spring i will re-do the grow area a bit to get it to my liking. i will keep thinking of improvements meanwhile.. but first of all i gotto get rid of the emptying of flush water containers. i need to get some new trays too later - and macgyver it togther with some drain pipes to get the water outside into the garden.. later when its time i might post some pics...

i dont know why but i just dont seem to have time to upload pics.. should do it just to get something into the new gallery...

peace all!!

hehe :D we found a web page of a company not too far away that sells them - later i think we will order some :D

i just sprayed all the plants in veg and "hasta luego" mites.. all i can see are dead.

i know its ideal to use predators and soon enough we will start with that too :D

peace mate :D

:D finally we got one more SSH x PTK keeper - this one is in looks very similar to the old one - but there is some dramatic differences in flavour and high. the smell reminds of it but got a personal touch with sweetness to the dank overtones.. the high is fairly sedating and one of those that makes u forget what u did 5 minutes ago... flavour is nice and sweet - but i havent yet tried a top nug to give sure report..

also i put to reveg the plant from seed found in one nug of my fave keeper of the ssh x ptk - the first one. the plant put to reveg - its for sure the biggest yielding indoor plant i ever had - BIG nugs and a familiar PTK- ish smell. havent given it a smoke test yet..

inspite of the fact this baby had a few nanners come out in late flowering, we decided to reveg it and try her outdoors - many plants that herm indoors stay perfectly ok outdoors etc - so we hope its going to be worth it.. we can only imagine how big nugs this one could produce outdoors in coco,.,. but i imagine HUGE :D

so all in all this round has given this far these keepers;

SSH x PTK - new pheno
SSH x LP
DIVA-G x LP
Block Berry

with the earlier moms;
jaggen - jackflash
amnezia haze
SSD
snowdawg
SSH x PTK

i thinks it enough for a while..

peace :D

kannemite is the name of the product im using now - it doesnt really prevent - well yeah more or less - but really its an systematic poison that takes out the spidermites like a nuke..

safety time for entering in the grow is 24-48 hours and its gone in about 2-3 weeks time. usually it takes about 2-3 months before i get an other mite invasion again.. cant helpt it in the area im living in...

arctic sun - thanks mate

there's less toxic stuff around.
have you tried any of those?
thanks.

yeah - and ALL other poisons are crap and note nuclear enough. so tired of all ecological bullshit.

only thing left for me to use is predatory mites.

things like neem and pyrethine etc does not work on mites.

:D

got 55 clones rooting of ssh x ptk, snowdawg, amnesia haze and jaggen.. gonna make clones of the ssd next round..

i put aside 5 of the clones i took in end of december, i cut of lots of branches and prepared them for flowering - im going to veg them a little bit before - best would be to get the little beginnings of the branches to grow a bit before i switch so im going to hold on to some of them as long as possible - i really liked the last round with the heavilly pruned plants - 5-7 big top nugs are really the way to go in these tight conditions...

we are using now CANNA BOOST regularly at both locations - so we hope to be able to say if it really is worth it or not after.

like allways after harvest... when the nugs get nice .. i just cant get bothered to post a lot :D

all the best

should add one thing - it was a good bet to use the ssh x lp male to polinate the ssh x ptk keeper female. i got only 35 beans - but its going to be enough for some fun :D

the ssh x lp is a extreme sativa really, but the G-13 part keeps it so short and stout its un - heard off. the yield is not high - but the potency and flavour is 10 of 10 - so we are hoping our keeper female will bring back some yield into her.

CLONEMAN used same SSH for both crosses - so it was almost a must to use it. it brings back a lot more of the SSH into the soup and the flavour etc should go a bit that way - BUT the stoutness of the SSH x LP should give some short but vigorous plants with lots of flowering bracts. if we are lucky :D lets see how it goes :D

---

the cross i made last year with the ssh x ptk - SSH/PTK x PTK - we are flowering her rigth now.. there is some very interesting ones in there - got one extreme PTKish pheno that looks like MAYBE it got higher yield than the ptk original, but in general not a big yielder, nor vigorous. just like the PTK's, DC's and the X18. all potent slow growing ones..

there is other phenos at VEND's place - one very columnar but vigorous ptk looking pheno but with some SSH/PTK influence in the vigour. this one got a enormously thick stem.

there is also two other phenos that look a lot like our keeper, so we are hoping for more similarities later on in flower in them - if we are lucky they are going to be vigorous AND good yielders. its going to be itneresting to see how the PTK has influenced the flavour and high..

there is 2 males - one of them is going to get choosen (the stinkiest and most resinous one) and its going to polinate
SSH x PTK - ssh/ptk x ssh/ptkxptk
and one or more of the SSH/PTK x PTK to make some BX1's

vend is thinking we should maybe go about crossing the male to an amnesia haze, one jaggen, SSD, and snowdawg too - just for fun. we might as well just go ahead and do that :D

im planning to MAYBE plant some seeds in a few months for some summer outdoor experiments.

also im planning 2 possible early spring guerillas for hash production. i have been thinking of using the Beeniemans choice since i got SO many of the seeds for one of the grows, and or SSH x PTK for the other. i dont know if im going to have time to do both this spring - if not - ill leave the SSH x PTK for this summer. it would most likelly be most fun anyway :D

peace!!

darn - forgot to mention the new keepers i got from hazeventura :D :D :D

the jaggen is looking VERY interesting right from start of flowering :D chunky!! this round we are flowering all new strains; amnesia haze, jaggen, SSD, snowdawg...

soits gonna be LOTS of fun :D

I used Organocide and it worked but I only had a small problem.

Predatory mites work but take a little time to establish, so if you
are well into flowering the pred-mites may not have enough time to work.

i'll research their use as preventative. It may be best to just establish predatory mites every few months in the grow area.

they are cheap here $25. US and then never have to spray or bomb.

Preventative pred-mites may be the way.

B

bonecarver_OG

good idea in general to work on a preventing basis :D

i just forget every now and then to do the sprayings i should :D this product is the best i have tried this far :D

peace!

B

bonecarver_OG

yikes! i think the little container with KANNAMITE i have had - since maybe almost 2 years back(?) isnt effective any more. i have sprayed twice the last week and there is still live mites left.

im particularly conserned since i have plants in early 12/12 with a quite alarming mite infection.

im going to look for a product that contains abamectin - many have had good success with it - the only downfall is its more poisonous than the normal products.

since i have been using regualry acaricides - i have to wait for a good while before using predatory mites, but in the other grow location - we are going to use that.

peace..

Bonecarver .. mites are no fun. any other bug sucks. But mites, mites are evil. evil evil evil.

This is what i do, the key is to hit the plant within the life cycle of the mite. u hit them over and over...... BEFORE THE CAN MATE AGAIN.

Hit the plant, wait 3 days hit again, wait 7 days hit again. Then follow up every other week unless u get a infestation. And you may be able to go 2-3 weeks before seeing a colony again.

Routine dips make it happen less and less. I dip every other week, whether i have them or not. If i slack, they return, NO MATTER WHAT.

If they appear. then u start over again.

DIP >>> DIP >>>>>> DIP...

Whats is a dip, a dip is a consist of a spreader(sm90), neem oil, gonats (cedar oil), and spectracide same day harvest, garden insect killer (contains pyrethrins & buythonyel butoxide (spelling). Some what organic instecticide. Not half as toxic to humans as alot of stuff on the market.

2 tbsp sm90
3-4 tbsp neem oil
4 tbsp spectricide bug killer
2 tbsp gonats.

to one 5 gallon bucket of warm water, 70F water.

It wont kill your leaves unless already severly damaged.

with that mix in a 5 gallon bucket, you place a cover over your pot to hold back the medium. take the plant flip it over and submerge ALL OF THE LEAVES into the 5 gal bucket.

curve the plant in the 5 gal dip, like a corkscrew. It amazing actually how much leaf matter can be submerged into the bucket.

Cover alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll of the leaves of the plant. all, over & over.

When the leaf matter is in the bucket, pull the plant in and out, like the plant is fucking the 5 gal bucket. over & over, wait.....in & out again. the agitation makes sure all of the leaf is covered. After a few plants it may be necessary to add more sm90 as wicking effect disappears.

1)the spreader wicks the liquid.
2) the neem oil will suffocate the mite
3) the spectircide garden insect killer kills the bug, (buthenyhol butoxide opens the pores, pyrethrin killllsssssssss any small insect.
4) the bugs cant stand the cedar oil.

use the dip afterwards to dress over your medium. kills aphids, spider mites and fungus knats.

dip dip dip. if i follow this through out veg, and always enter flower room before veg room, i have gone weeks without seeing them. months without seeing them in flower.

When the plant is in flower it more difficult to kill off mites, but still possible.it works for me. ive tried alot of things, the fact is u almost always reintroduce bugs to your garden from elsewhere in your environment, all the time.

hehe :D

the dip method is fun - but only usefull for smaller plants.

i have used it before but with better non-organic poisons.

im going to go for agricultural grade pesticides.

ABAMECTINE
